Imagine an Imperial German Soldat with 21st century body armor and an assault rifle; spiked helmet included.

That's the basic rifleman.

Knights wear whatever the hell they want and the central military does not object to this as they supply their own equipment; most common though is variations of the basic uniform.

That's MT, ofc.

PT wise the uniform was very Austrian-esque, sparkly white with gold borders. More archers and swordsman than musketeers though (until later in) and again knights provided their own equipment.

FTly there is no united military authority; as each planet is a separate queendom loosely affiliated to the empire and as such the military bodies of each vary considerably from the Imperial Army which I have yet to get down, I imagine a lot of powerarmor though with the knights.
