The Great Massacre in Polkopia

Today marked a tragic day in Polkopian history. Earlier today, a group of assassinations, led by radical Russian Orthodox church leaders and followers, against the small Muslim minority in Peeto, the capital city of Polkopia. Some believe that this was a result of a group of Muslim terrorists storming a cathedral and executing the priest and several Polkopian citizens.

Muslims were not the only targeted minority; atheists, agnostics, and pagans also fell victim to the attacks. The attackers were said to have attacked the people in brutal ways. Such attacks include: Burning people alive, Crucifixion, mutilation, and other methods, which use several Medieval torture devices.

Dictator Semyon Polk has not yet responded to the issue, however it is evident that he is aware of the situation, as it has been brought before him in several instances.

The total casualty count is as follows:
Muslims: 1,394
Orthodox Christians: 349
Atheists: 231
Agnostics: 198
Pagans: 93

The total injured count is as follows:
Muslims: 2,018
Orthodox Christians: 679
Atheists: 28
Agnostics: 19
Pagans: 12

IC: Cruciland has congratulated the Orthodox church, but is willing to teach them ways to efficiently convert nonbelievers instead of slaughtering them.

We applaud Polkopia for getting rid of their nation of the nonbelievers, but their methods against them are too brutal, so they should be rehabilitated and converted instead of putting them to genocide.

This is an act that should not occur in any nation of the world, and we condemn all such religious and terrorist acts as a stain upon their respective religious faith. We may be a secular state, but we believe religions are established for peace and the goodwill of all, and thus such acts tarnish their good name and ways of life.

We wish to extend a hand of aid to your nation to help combat such religious injustice, and wish you to know that we stand in solidarity with all peace-minded citizens in your nation.
