Should our legal age for marijuana be raised?

Postby Xiao » Mon Nov 26, 2012 12:35 am

The legislative wants to pass a law that would raise the legal age for marijuana to 21. Currently, it is 17. The president is the one to determine if the law gets passed or vetoed.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.

legal age for marijuana?

Postby Killer Weirwoulfs » Mon Nov 26, 2012 2:39 am

:palm: :eyebrow:

well i'm 19 at the moment... i don't do drugs, and never have, but i'm wishing ppl didn't up the age for legal drinking... honestly i think we should leave the age at 17 and be done with it... if you up the age, then ppl are going to do it anyways as a sign of rebellion, and then they'll get hooked on it anyways...-drinks up a bottle of vodka-... i always tell my friends that "the day i turn 21 is the day i turn into an alcoholic" but i'm already one, and i openly admit to the fact(online)... just think about youth today... it's a right of passage to be drinking before you turn 21 so that when you actually get there, you can outdrink your older friends ^.^

no matter what you put the age as, people will do it anyways... so you might as well make it legal for them to do it

Ban marijuana and distribute mind controlling drugs among all civilians.

In Disserbia all drugs are legal at any age and crime is virtually unheard of. It would help to know the reasoning behind the potential change.

It's too high. Make it around the zero mark, so anyone can have it, and then you'll have it just right.

Khanastan has had marijuana legalised for 50 years now, and it has been consistently at a legal age of 16. We keep it under the same restrictions as alcohol, no driving while stoned, no working, no smoking in public. It has become a luxury to be smoked at home, or at social events.

Keep it at 17. Raising it just encourages children to go out of their way to obtain it illegally.
“The ancient Oracle said that I was the wisest of all the Greeks. It is because I alone, of all the Greeks, know that I know nothing.” - Socrates
Khanastan is an entirely fictional PMT nation somewhat similar to a larger, more free version of China. We are a massive federal representative republic of half a billion people with a self-sufficient, world-dominating economy. NS stats are not used. Use our Factbook instead.
Call me Khan. I've been here a while. I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I think people should treat people like they want to be treated themselves. If you want to know more you're going have to buy me a drink or get to know me better, otherwise i'll stop being such a mystery.
Merry crisis one and all.
