The 1st of the 3 debates will be held tonight at the University of Britannia. The candidates for all parties will attend the said debate. This election shall be the 1st parliamentary election since the new constitution is drafted. The election has proved to be a tough race for Labour, Conservative, Liberal and Nationalists, who were on the stalemate in different provinces. 1st Debate will primarily focus on Eminral's economy, cutting taxes and spending and the deficit. Eminral is suffering E$ 45 million dollars of deficit (NS$ 22.5 million) The Conservatives have been under fire for supporting the nuclear research program, which the Congress have moved to halt the research. If the Conservative candidate will do very well on the debate, there might be a chance that they would rise to polls.

UPDATE:

Conservative Party rise to polls from 17% to 20%, a rise of 3%. Nationalists on a stalemate with Conservatives from 23% to 20%, a down of 3%. Liberal Party gets the highest poll votes, from 26% to 27%, a rise of 1%. Labour Party 3% away from Liberal, from 21 to 20%, a down of 1%. Freedom party comes to 5th, winning 5% of poll votes from 3%, a rise of 2%. Socialist Party plunged from 2% to 1% as well as the Farmers Party, from 3% to 2%
