It is with pleasure and anticipation that I announce to the world that the The United Socialist Provinces of Coolboygcp 2012 Prime Minister Elections have begun! Below are the candidates, their parties, and their ideologies. Please endorse a candidate who your nations supports. Thank you, and here are the candidates.
Candidates
Governor Basil Freightwater
The New Democracy Party
Basil Freightwater became a rising star in the CoolBoy political sphere. He ascended through the ranks, and became the Governor of Essington Province in 2010, and decided after the death of PM James Patterson to run for PM.
Freightwater has a much more centralized ideology than the previous socialist regime. He is in favor of capitalism, and lowering taxes from 75% to 45%. Govenor Basil Freightwater also holds a very different environmental status than previous administrations; as he supports allowing the use of fossil fuels again, as well as switching some of the 100% renewable energy the nation is powered by to cheaper energy sources such as coal, natural gas, etc. He also supports oil drilling, and coal mining in Coolboygcp.
Minister of Social Affairs Rajah Khan
Socialist Democracy Party
Rajah Khan started as a community organizer in the Old District of George City, the capital and largest city of Coolboygcp. His work became so famous that he was appointed Minister of Social Affairs by the former monarchy in 2010. After the monarchy was overthrown in 2012, the new socialist government hired him as their Minister of Social Affairs as well.
Rajah Khan plans to increase welfare, and other assistance programs. As well as creating even more public transit, parks, buildings, space, and housing. He plans on raising taxes by 1% to 76% to compensate further for this. He wants to maintain the current environmental policy, and make immigration to the nation much easier.
Jimmy Xu
The Communist Party of The People
Jimmy Xu had been raised in the predominately Korean city of Incheoni-Bong. His parents organized the failed communist revolution and coup d'etat of 1984 against the monarchy. He grew to share this ideology with them and became a leading voice in the Communist Party of The People, and in 2011, he became the party's leader.
Jimmy Xu would like to raise taxes to 90%, and he would like a CoolBoy citizens to earn no more than 15 Social Credits(25 United Standard Dollars) an hour, and no less than 5 Social Credits per hour. He would make all corporations operating in the nation state-owned, and he would try to have reunification with The People's Republic of Communist Coolboygcp, which broke off from the rest of the nation in 2012.
Jimmy Xu would provide free internet, cable, phone, electricity, water, heat, education, college, transport, and housing for all citizens. Military spending would be increased by 200%, and and mandatory military service from the age of 18-25 would be in effect if elected.
Governor Buck "Rub and Tug" Samson
The Conservative Party
Buck "Rub and Tug" Samson started getting into politics because he just wanted to. Buck became the governor of East-Central Coolboygcp, a province of both desert and farmland; which had formed it's own powerful independence movement. He witnessed the socialist revolution firsthand, and though a supporter of the monarchy, he doesn't support either regime. Instead, he wants to instate a much more conservative regime.
He wants to get rid of all renewable energy completely, ban gay marriage, ban marijuana, ban alcohol, allow the use of fossil fuels, lower taxes to 13%, get rid of all welfare, universal healthcare, public house, transport, and all other government assistance. He also wants to shrink the government, increase the military budget by 500%, and sell off all government-owned companies.
If he does not win this election, he vows that his province will indeed separate from the rest of Coolboygcp, and form it's own nation.
Jose Garcia
The Interstellar Colonization Party
Oh all of the candidates, Jose Garcia of the Interstellar Colonization Party, has one of the more interesting political ideologies. Jose founded the party in 2010, and ever since then it has over 1,500,000 members and growing.
Jose, if elected, would send new space telescopes to find a habitable planet. Once one is found, they would build one dozen 1 km long starships. These starships would then pull space towards them; arrive at the planet and begin to colonize. The space telescopes would locate other habitable worlds, and more starships would be sent out to colonize those other worlds. Earth would be abandoned, and the nation would be an abandoned wasteland.
To compensate for the exorbitant price of the colonizate, Jose Garcia, if elected, would have the government seize all companies and businesses, and raise taxes to 95%.
Veronica Astor
Green Party
Veronica Astor was raised in Sikulo City, located in the Sikulo Islands, 250 miles off of the coast of Coolboygcp. in 1992, sea-level rises sank the entire chain of islands, killing 500,000 people. Veronica and her father survived, but her father and siblings perished in the event.
After this, Veronica dedicated her life to the environment, and has become the President of the Green Party in Coolboygcp. If elected, she will dedicate funding to save forests, jungles, natural environments, islands, endangered species, and etc. Also, a chain of huge flood gates shall be constructed around the entire nation's coastline, which would cost about 900 Billion Social Credits. All non-biodegradable plastic shall be banned, everyone shall receive an electric, hydrogen fuel cell, or algae vehicles. And all waste from a household must at least be 40% recyclable, if it is at least 5% less than that, then the person shall be fined 15,000 Social Credits. And if a citizen litters, they shall be arrested for 6 months time, and must pay a fine of 50,000 Social Credits.
Android 1A
The Robots United Party
Android 1A was created in 2010 by the creator, Bob Wozniaki, and Andrpid 1A is the first conscious robot in Coolboygcp. After he saw the plight of of other robots, he knew that he needed to help them. So he organized some robots, and in 2010, they formed the Robots United Party, and today it has over 1,500,000 members.
If Android A1 became Prime Minister, all robots would be freed, and humans would no longer be able to contract the work of them anymore. Robots would also form the entire government, and robots would have the mos rights, more rights than humans. Any robot who had committed a crime against humans would be instantly acquitted, and if a human committed a crime against a robot, they would immediately be executed. All humans, except the creator, would be forced to do hard labor for robots until the robots do not require them anymore, and simply send them all in a starship, into the sun.
Rainbow Sunshine
The United Ponyist Party of Coolboygcp
Rainbow Sunshine is a first-generation CoolBoy; her parents were from the region of the Pony Lands, and came at the beginning of the mass immigration of ponies to Coolboygcp and the region. Since her parents arrived, over 450,000,000 ponies have come to Coolboygcp. And yet, for years and years, they had no political party. In 2005 Rainbow Sunshine decided that she needed to organize an official party for ponies, and after Prime Minister james Patterson was assassinated, she knew that this was her chance to be Prime Minister.
If elected, Rainbow Sunshine would integrate ponies further in the nation. There would be public schooling for both humans and ponies all in one classroom. There would be more products made for ponies, more accessable bathrooms, public places, and more. There would be more representation of ponies in media, and the government. Also, ponyism would be promoted, and it would be the de facto religion of the nation. Rainbow Sunshine would also keep socialism in it's own, separate form, ponyist socialism.
