In 1998's elections, Arkinesian voters brought the Federalist Party into a majority. Many liberal and libertarian groups staged a high-profile uprising in the ranks of the Socialist Party, which culminated in the assassination of Arkinesia's Federalist President in 2001. After his assassination, many details of his private life and private political life emerged, destroying the Federalist Party's reputation. Although the Socialists were ruined as well, the Libertarians rose to their traditional place of power in 2002, and a Libertarian President was elected in the 2004 Presidential election.

The two most notable events in Ternan history is the landing of our founding father, Jason di Viola, on our largest island in the 15th century, and the deposing of our Monarchy and the establishment of our democratic system in the early 20th century.

[Taozi (Ancient)]

The communist rule in 1915-1930 was forever marked as the most oppressive rule in Taozi's history. It caused the violent revolution of 1931 that overthrew the authoritarian communist government. From 1931, a democratic government with libertarian principles was installed in Taozi. Our founding fathers were Revoultionary leader and general Tsai Hiu Ze (蔡曉澤) and lawyer/libertarian philosopher Bao Tsin Ku(包真苦).

The first event would be the discovery of the Gates into Faerie. This particular bit of land exists both in the mortal sphere, and overlaid by the lands of Faerie. Those of the fae adept at magic found themselves able to open ways into this land.

Our nation might have remained the property of the Sidhe... were it not for the fact that beings from countless other places had also settled here, drawn by the natural magical strength. The terrain here is virtually a kind of mystic reservoir capable of holding dispossessed beings.

Thus, nymphs, dryads and many other creatures and supernatural beings have settled here, where they cannot be driven away or killed by the desire of humans to expand their influence.

The human population are careful not to offend the fae. They're a very mixed group. Some are even of Japanese origin, having followed nature spirits of that place into a new land. They live in their own villages, and this can be disorienting to outsiders, since one remote village might be Japanese, and the next will be firmly Irish-Celtic, or Scottish, or Welsh... or even Russian. This disparate mix gets on remarkably well due to the need to exchange information, so that none of them end up being obliterated by beings they don't know how to appease or avoid.

In early 1985, the longtime dictator President John Fernando Villanueves died at 85 years old. His Vice President Edward Gavin Nogales was, despite popular belief, relatively weak-willed and unprepared for the job. That, coupled with years of increased tension and protests by the citizens of the Riverian Republic stemming from rumours that the accidental death of pretender King Victor four years earlier was caused by Villanueves Party loyalists, led to increased calls for a governmental change.

Due to international pressure, Nogales ordered a referendum on the future of the Republic, with two choices being put out: whether the nation should remain a Republic or should return to a Monarchy with the pretender of the throne, Victor I's son King Michael of San Guillermo (a former territory), as its monarch. At first, the results seemed to indicate the continuation of the republic, but the reports of fraud and outrage from the citizens led to the resignation of two senior cabinet ministers.

These ministers led a mass protest in the capital of Aramade City, which composed of not only citizens, but politicians, religious figures, and the military, which lasted from May 23 to May 27, when the President and his cronies fled the country and the Supreme Court of Santos Rivera ruled that the monarchy won the referendum. That same day, King Michael entered the country, the first time he set foot in it since his family's exile in 1940, and was crowned King, ending 45 years of dictatorship.

there is a long string of events which led to the creation of our nation. The most clear is the splintering of the Federated Territories. this is claimed to have been caused by the imprisonment of Lady Kuzmenko well before hand over rather minor charges (public indecency and disruption of the peace)

Tori Jacobs, Imai Katayo, Logan S. Gun and Ayen Matthews all met each other after traveling from different parts in the world. Together they found virgin lands to claim their own and from that day The Republic of Isafero was formed with a Constitution written and signed by all of them to ensure their people, from now and long after their passing, that they would be treated equal in Civil Rights, as their Political Freedoms may never be taken away and that Justice will hold no bias so their nation can continue to be a Free Country that serve its people unlike their original places of origins.

It is rumored, but not yet confirmed, that Tori was a Princess who forsook her role in her Kingdom because she was disgusted at the way the Kingdom treated it people and knew that a Queen only role would be to serve their King, not be able to have the power to make any changes. Both Imai and Logan come from a Dictatorship and both were nearly killed trying to escape their deranged former Dictator in hopes of finding freedom and Ayen is rumored to have been the aid for Princess Tori to sneak out of her Kingdom and traveled along with her.

[Ozymos]

A space probe from the Sol system lands on the planet Ozymos, in the Gamma Quadrant. Although heavily damaged, inhabitants are able to salvage part of it - primarily the technological and cultural data, although the cultural data is incompete, and as such, the inhabitants believe that the culture of the 1940s, the only part that was not damaged beyond all recognition, is the way things should be. Thus, this probe shapes how Ozymos and the other planets in the system evolve.

[Kirhean Tribes]

Approximately three-hundred years ago, by Human reckoning, a great cataclysm struck the Kirhean people. Despite the fact that they had established a solar empire, and were no longer limited to a single planet, this cataclysm managed to nearly annihilate their entire species. Of the roughly 30 billion Kirheans who once lived, only six million survived...primarily those aboard military and merchant vessels at the time.

The survivors formed a single fleet, and after deliberation they decided that the only option left was to leave for a small planet nearly 500 light years away. According to records it was a habitable planet with evidence of life, but no evidence of an intelligent civilization...thusly perfect as a new home for the Kirhean people. All non-essential personnel were put into biological suspension and the fleet set out for the new world.

Three hundred years later they arrived at Earth, only five million had survived the journey...but more importantly they discovered a civilization on the planet. They managed to create an artificial landmass to inhabit, and have since integrated themselves into human international culture.



If the Cataclysm hadn't occured, the Kirhean people might have stayed in their own solar system for thousands of years before leaving...perhaps to encounter a much more advanced Human civilization.


And perhaps not on such friendly terms...

Anyway, the most important event in Anglo-Saxon history would have to be the reconquest of the British isles by king Edward II. Over the course of his reign (934-1002) Edward II reconquered all of England, defeated a Welsh revolution, conquered Scotland, and lead a few expeditions into Ireland. It is because of his reconquest that slavery is so common in the Anglo-Saxon Empire (there were a lot of captured soldiers made into slaves), the Anglo-Saxon Empire is independent, and Anglo-Saxons still make up 75% of the island's population (during his reconquest he ordered the extermination of entire cities that resisted, and it is estimated that 60% of the Scottish population was killed during his invasion.).

5 April 1989:

Special Italian National Elections take place after the Death of the former president. The Nationalist Party, who has a majority in both the upper and lower houses of the legislature, wins the election by a landslide. Benito Mussolini II proceeds to eradicate the Italian Constitution and create a new one. He then Annexes Austria and the Balkan Penninsula. The Nationalist party is then renamed the Fascist Party. and has since kept all of its electoral seats.

[Fisenesia]

First of all, about 4000 years ago some people from the other side of the Earth appeared in the Pacific. Modern science can still not give a definite answer as to why, but many speculate that the odd magnetic and other properties of much of Fisenesia acted upon the Mediterranean as a sort of natural casimir effect on a grand scale.

Second, a war between city-states was interrupted by a large diamond meteorite crashing into the ground. The first leader of all of Fisenesia, Empress Luna, then persuaded all of the city-states to unite and used the diamond meteorite's value to jump-start a currency.

Third ,the Bellum de Terra Illuminata in 1953, which killed more than 50% of Fisenesians mostly by destroying two Fisenesian cities.

Fourth was the invention and wide use of Gene Therapy which allowed the enhancement or addition of fully-inheritable genes to full grown adults, thereby eliminating ugliness, genetic diseases, and genetic engineering on unborn children, and enabling extrasensory perception, near immortality, and other superhuman abilities. This research mostly began in the 1950s, but was not fully safe to use until around 1995.
