I think Geadland had a similar problem

So, I don't know why, but reediting the page to force the image to regenerate (I just removed the 300px, saved, and then added the 300px back in) seems to fix the problem. This is probably due to the fact that thumbnails in Mediawiki are special and are not just the main file produced smaller but an actually smaller image saved slightly differently on the server. If you see the problem again, just force the thumbnail to regenerate by modifying it slightly. The cause may have something to do with the Wikimedia Commons syncing, but I'll have to investigate it a bit to figure it out.

Sure thing. Thanks! :D

I will be initiating an update to IIwiki which will hopefully solve all script errors. In the meantime, IIwiki will be in read-only mode. This upgrade will consist of a newer version of Mediawiki as well as several server changes on my part. Disk space is still a recurring problem and I will keep you all updated here and on IRC. Let me know if anything breaks.

Thanks,

Solm

The length of time from the time the old NSwiki went down for good until today. :P

Seriously, God knows.

Hopefully within an hour or two.

This explains why I've been getting 403 errors. :p

Thanks for the update, Solm.

We lost the navbox module.

Personally, I feel the older "recent changes" was easier to use.

I think Solm has re-imported it; looking at a page that uses a navbox, I see one working, so... That being said, if you find any modules missing, drop by my talk page and leave a message with the import request and full module name, and I'll re-import it.

I'm not seeing any difference, spare it's shorter given the recent changes reset when the software was upgraded. Are you seeing something else?

Edit: Are you referring to the grouped changes? If so, go to your "Preferences" (upper right when you're logged-in), then select the "Recent changes" tab and go down to the check box where it says, "Group changes by page in recent changes and watchlist," and de-select it. Hit save, and it should no longer group them, but show them in strict chronological order.

We lost the page views number at the bottom of each page. :(

Anyway, does this mean the convert template is back?

Aye, we did; I imagine that has to do with the new MediaWiki software and can probably only be enabled/disabled server-side - which I do not have access to. Consider leaving a message on Solm's talk page if you'd like to see if it can be re-implemented.

As for the convert module, I'm going to try and import it and see if it works now. Give me a moment. :p

Edit: After reimporting "Module:Convert" and "Module:Convert/text," it appears the convert function now does work again. ;)

What's going on with the settlement infobox? It displays population in decimals and has this...

{{infobox settlement/Template:Infobox settlement/pref

|metv=
|metu=km2
|impv=
|impu=sq mi
|s=/

}}

Example

And the political party infobox also has decimals for the amount of seats.

Example

For the former, you can only input numbers - no commas or other words, I believe - into those slots. I've taken the liberty of fixing them for you. Once you input an area, given the Module:Convert now functions, it will automatically render your population density.

As to the latter, I'm not entirely sure. I'll have to look into it.

Something in Template:Historical populations has been mangled, with the decimal module apparently gone - http://iiwiki.com/wiki/Cadenza_(city)#Demographics

What's that you say? The convert template is working again? You magnificent SOBs! Great job.

Fixed now. If you find pages still displaying the error, or a script error saying, "Script error. No such module '[some module]' exists," do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5); if that does not work, do a null edit by clicking "Edit," then "Preview," then "Save." If it isn't fixed after that, let me know.

I somehow knew you'd be the most pleased about that. :p

What happened to that popup that came up when you tried to close the tab or navigate away while editing?

I have an image that will not resize to 200px on my wiki, although every other image is working fine. I am using the right format, I believe.

Template:fb and Template:fb-rt are horribly unpredictable about when they want to work and when they don't, as evidenced here: http://iiwiki.com/wiki/Michillies_national_football_team#Recent_games and http://iiwiki.com/index.php?title=Coupe_d%E2%80%99Esquarium_IV

This has been a problem since before the software update, but nothing seems to have changed about the template since.

This

It's resized to 200 just fine. That's a width measurement; the height there is about 300 pixels.
