I wouldn't be too worried about them. Unless they're complete incompetents, their nukes would have safeguards that would prevent detonation even if the device broke down mechanically (also, thermonuclear devices would have their tritium decay into uselessness over time). The only threat a rusting nuke stockpile poses is to its owners.
