A crowd has gathered outside the sacred Garden Shrine in Taerak, anticipating the departure of His Serene Majesty Fuschakei Adalayani. Fuschakei Adalayani, the nation's highest leader, above even HRH King Whirnak, rarely appears in public and never leaves the sacred Garden Shrine unless he's incredibly ill or must oversee official state ceremonies, much like the coronation of Queen-Presumptive Jivani Estakuri.

The crowd will likely not see the Fuschakei, as he will most likely exit the sacred Garden Shrine via a secret exit underneath the grounds.

Heck the Maraqueans themselves confuse federal subjects, most people do however simply assume that all that heat and sun gets to their heads after a while and certain charity groups do debate wherever or not aid in the form of various protective hats would help the people in question.

It is considered somewhat rude, or at least strange, in Frenequesta to turn down a friend's request to go to the bar or the casino with them.

We found a man at the base of a cliff, sitting on a snowmobile without a head. His head lay several meters away, and a noose hung on the cliff. We're not entirely sure what happened here, and so far, this man has not been identified.

EDIT: Even more strangely, the snowmobile was left on.

Breaking News

The Keronian Empire made two annexations this past week. These were the first annexations that have taken place since 1998, and the first annexations to take place under the New Empire.

The former Republic of KidsNextDoor, faced with bankrupcy and huge external pressure, offered annexation to the Keronian Empire, with the sole condition being that it be allowed to retain autonomy.

President Aragon Brisingr immediately declined, but called for a vote of the House of Representatives to see where the MPs stood and consulted the Emperor's Consul. Both suggested to annex the nation if it withdrew its condition of retaining autonomy.

A few days later, as unemployment in the nation soared to 80%, and the government was facing staunch criticism and a revolution seemed possible, KidsNextDoor made a second appeal to the Empire, this time asking for it to be officially recognised as a Protectorate of the Keronian Empire whilst the Empire still held all administrative and legislative power over it.

The President agreed.

The second annexation was that of the nation's close ally, the Empire of Alagaeesia. The nation had been torn apart by a civil war, with right wing extremists attempting a revolution, and the democratic government attempting to retain power. The government requested help from the Keronian Empire, and the President immediately deployed 50,000 troops, which could be extended to 100,000 if required, despite opposition from the House of Representatives.

After one month of civil war, the government beat the revolutionists. Keronian troops began to slowly withdraw. The government, however, was facing staunch opposition, and the nation itself was extremely unstable. War could easily break out again. Over 70% of the population was living below the poverty line, and the majority of the cities had been torn apart by the fighting.

After calling a vote of the House of Representatives, and having a meeting with the Emperor and His Consul, the President presented Alagaeesia with an offer of annexation. The nation would retain autonomy officially, but would be regarded as a Keronian Protectorate, and the Keronian Empire would hold all administrative and legislative powers in the region. A similar deal as with KidsNextDoor.

The Alagaeesian government reluctantly agreed, and Keronian troops marched into the Parliament and raised the Keronian flag alongside the Alagaeesian flag. The people, both in Keronians and Alagaeesia, were strongly in favour of this annexation.

The Emperor came out in support of the President's judgement, and thanked him and the people for supporting this noble cause. He regarded the annexations as an offer of aid to unfortunate nations, an offer of protection, and an offer of diversification. The Empire itself was also greatly strengthened by the annexations, as both nations were modestly large.

no one stops you from building whatever kind if house you want out of whatever you can find to build it out of.
most of us do. that or co-build palaces of strangeness anyone can move into and live in any not currently nor recently occupied dead end corners of.
most communities build free public crash spaces too. thus no homelessness.
food, is free too. toys, on the other paw, you have to make or earn yourself. tools and materials with which to do so are usually freely available though.

1,000 Maraqueans were asked a simple question.

"Can you describe how the monarchy works?"

Answers were as varied as "Nope," "Hell no," "wat," and "GET AWAY BEFORE I CALL THE COPS!"

One woman began to describe it but she spontaneously combusted.
