Anyways, back to facts.

HRH King Tizutri and HRH King Stahnasuk are the only monarchs in Tsvarchivan history that were not cremated. They lay in coffins in the Imperial Crypt next to the urns of the 1344 fallen monarchs of Tsvarchi.

Montians really do embrace surrealism as an art form, and many a surrealist artist has been from the Mont, each with various degrees of success and popularity. They also like surrealists from various other surreal-loving nations, such as Teviris's Rohan Mackay and Cidara's Maribel Nava Laboy. The most famous Montian surrealist, though, is the David Lynch, main man behind such movies as the widely acclaimed Eraserhead and the similarly received Mulholland Drive.

Because they believed as the founding fathers of Tsvarchi they deserved a more grand departure into the eternal darkness. So they forged intricate coffins and placed the bodies within them before placing them into the Imperial Crypt which they also built by hand in honor of them.

Every subsequent monarch was not viewed as important as them, so they received the traditional burning. The sole exception was Queen Deatiya, but it was decided she too would be burned instead of immortalized in a coffin, as she would have preferred tradition over a privileged path to the crypt.

Is it the monarch's right to determine how their remains will be seen off, or does somebody else handle that?

President Xena Balova is the only President of the United States to date whose grave is also officially a National Monument. It is generally accepted that, had she known of this plan, she would have been terribly irritated, and may well have throttled somebody.

Well back then they didn't really have wills, so they didn't have a document outlining what was to happen to them or their possessions in death, so it was up to the villagers to decide. In present times the will is readily available, but no monarch has ever chosen a burial over cremation in the history of Tsvarchi. It's sort of an unwritten rule that the monarch is to be cremated, as choosing a burial would imply they are somehow as great as or better than King Tizutri and King Stahnasuk, which of course is hogwash.

Only two Vermontian Presidents have had an honorable burial at the Green Mountain Cemetery in Montpelier.

Ethan Allen, the first president, and Blake Mapleoir, the 58th and the only to be assassinated in office.

There was an explosion in downtown Golden City. An "Abandoned Warehouse" was destroyed, and there was surprisingly no collateral damage, just that "Abandoned Building" blew up. This suggests that
A. Someone managed to sneak enough explosives in with no one noticing
B. That person managed to set the explosives in the right locations, which would require smashing up walls and such, with no one noticing.
C. That there was something worth blowing up in there

We blame it on Facists, but some ridiculous conspiracy theorists claim that it was our top secret anti-slaver black ops group's doing. because some one figured it out and they had to get rid of the old HQ and all of the equipment, except they didn't and the leaderis just batshit insane

Which is ridiculous.

The 88th floor of every building in Tsvarchi is skipped, with stairwells and elevators forgoing it and going directly to the 89th.

The Imperial Government released a report this morning stating that the Ministry of Education had, by far, created the most efficient education system in the world. This report, however, was debunked by a six year old at a local elementary school when she showed a picture of her class room missing chairs, desks, books, bookshelves, plants, students, teachers and chalkboard. The Imperial Government has yet to respond.

Queen Sophia has performed a complete U-Turn on her policy on Homosexual rights. Previously the Queen has maintained a policy whereby any sexual relations between two consenting adults was not government business, and left it at that.

However, following advice from her Privy Council, Her Majesty has passed a new "Civil-Union" for gay couples, giving them the legal rights marriage would entail.

there has been mixed results from the public, although the Queen's popularity ratings have increased slightly.

With just over two months still to go until the election of the nation's next head-of-state by the High Council, at the New Year, the gambling industry is still trying to find out which -- and even how many -- of Clan WestWoods' sixteen Voices are going to be named as candidates.

Nobody... well not until HRH King Whirnak marries his fiance. Then she becomes Queen.

Royal titles and how they're earned, transferred, etc, is very unconventional in Tsvarchi.

There is a popular sitcom which shows jokes. One of the most famous was about English words.

John: "Hi there, Josh."
Josh: "Well, hi John."
John: "Do you know what happened?"
Josh: "What? How was your recent try on bugs?"
John: "Not too good. But I was talking about me using higher English."
Josh: "What's that?"
John: "Well, it means using the less known meaning for every word. I am the first party, you're the second and the audience's the third."
Josh: "Wait, we are all partying? I didn't know that!"
John: "Well, that's what I meant. So, could you go and wind up the window?"
Josh: "How am I supposed to do that? Take a fan and place it at that direction?"
John: "No, I mean open the window."
Josh: "Oh."

And more of it would be here though, but the copyright the group made got in the way. :P

HM Official Opposition is embroiled in scandal and criminal charges, as it was discovered by the National Gazette that they had been illegally investing in the mining and shipping industries and using the funds they had obtained to run smear campaigns against the Government, as well as conspiring to destabilise the stock market and force the government out of office. His Majesty Prince Rhys is expected to close Parliament and call a general election some time later on today.

In the USSR, (United Socialist States of Ruskarkand), the dying human population is resorting to hiding, the growing Dragoon population has forced them to go underground, rebel groups have been formed and are slaughtering the Dragoon populations at a fast rate.

The two human generals of the Military have gone rouge, both leading the HAOR (Human Alliance of Ruskarand).
The separatist rebels are locked in tight with the DAOR (Dragoon Alliance of Ruskarkand) in fierce combat, both are deploying propaganda against each side.

An example of the human propaganda.
