A Lithuanian tribe emigrated from Lithuania to a large island group south of India. They set up an imperial government and started giving out Dröbis wine. The government changed from Holy Empire to Dh'arconian, to Holy Empire, to Fascist Kaiserreich and then to Christian socialism.

When the government caught on to GOVCON's actions they attempted to dismantle GOVCON, who responded by staging a coup d'état against the previous government by using the vast private militaries they had under their control and after a brief civil war GOVCON was the victor.

Thesan was born in 461 A.D. after an immense civil war that tear apart the old Rescan Empire, the North decided to become a Parliamentary Kingdom and proclaimed Aenal Thes (sister of the last, and dead, Prime Minister of Rescan Iro Thes) as first queen (Aenal I).
After 500 years of bloody wars Nedor (the southern part of Old Rescan) was conquered and became part of Thesan.
In 1304 King Eilderan IV and Queen Aurela VII decided that only the people has the right to rule over the people itself, so they abdicated and transformed the Kingdom in a Republic.
In 1823 the Prime Magister Furial Arudee, after popular referendum, approved the constitutional reform and Thesan passed from Democratic Republic to Hyperdemocratic Republic and one chamber of the parliament was dismissed.

Tropical, relatively large island nation in the Pacific, close to the coast of northern South America, which happens to have oil. Colonized by the Portuguese in the 1700s, achieved independence in the 1800s, was a banana republic throughout the 1900s (with the occassional revolutionary period through the 50s to 80s) until the comprador government was finally overthrown by a far-left mass front in the '00s.
