Whale hunting was the main reason why Charellia created the Index of Protected Aquatic Species. No animal on the index may be hunted. Along with whales it also protects seals, narwhals and sharks. Some of the creatures on the index are not even present in our nation but the trade of their products is banned.

What are your export offers? Also do you offer other species like panda bears?

It's illegal here. We don't see much use in killing whales.

We have no laws governing whaling. But the last time a whale was seen in any of the bodies of water on which CL has a border was back in 1961.
Please note: Central Lothian is the direct successor to Mid Lothian*. As a result, I am still called Rebecca, I am still a Grammar Nazi and most information pertaining to ML also applies to CL (although I will be taking this time to change a few things).

* - And I may refer to the country as Mid Lothian. If I do, assume that I mean Central Lothian. (And not to be confused with "Midlothian" - I'm using that as a fascist version of CL.)

Illegal and frowned upon, but the whaling and fishing industry are trying to convince the government to make it legal, albeit unsuccessful.

Whaling is legal and it is considered something of a novelty to hunt for whales, it is not something we do often since there is too much whale meat for even a large family to be able to store and eat and we hate wasting food, but occasionally a couple of the larger families get together and pool their resources to have a whale cloned then they hunt it and have enough whale meat for a year.

Everything that is not officially permitted in Statist Britain is illegal, and that would include whaling.

Whaling was legal under Kingtonian law up until the 1960s when the whaling industry in South Grosvaer, the only Antarctic colony of Kington Langley and only area of significant whaling activities, was killed off by similar laws in other nations. To this day, the territorial waters around the small island colony are monitored by the Royal Kingtonian Coast Guard to make sure the practice is not revived by either domestic or foreign companies and individuals. Due to its location, metropolitan Kington Langley has never had an active whaling industry and therefore monitoring is non-existent.

Cohokia is an island/ continent and whaling is legal only for Cohokian whalers. Foreign whalers will be killed if whaling in Cohokian waters. Whaling is illegal at certain times of the year and in certain areas.

Whaling is far from legal, and is a highly punishable crime.

You would have to speak to the various private whaling operations, but depending on species, prices can be as low as $12.00 a pound.

We haven't got a domestic panda population, but if it isn't sentient, you can probably find somebody who sells it out here. No reason not to.

Whaling is illegal unless it is used to kill a diseased whale to prevent the disease from spreading.

Technically legal and unregulated, but the fishing industry is virtually non-existent and whaling even more so. As a nation where 90% of the population is herbivores we are not especially keen on whale meat.

Whaling is legal and only loosely regulated, though it requires a permit to conduct, unlike most commercial operations in Maltropia. At present, there are no authorised permit-holders in the entirety of the Royal Kingdom.
