[The Kangaroo Republic]

Our native inhabitants are sapient kangaroos. There are four different species of kangaroo. The Antilopine Kangaroo, Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Western Grey Kangaroo, and the Red Kangaroo. Each of the species generally share many physical features with their non-sapient cousin, and it can often be hard to spot the physical differences between the two, however, each of the sapient species share the qualities of having larger heads to accomodate their more developed brains, their opposable thumbs, and their ability to move their feet independently from each other on land, as opposed to their non-sapient cousins.

The sapient kangaroos' typical style of dress normally consists of a shirt and a garment closely related to the modern walking kilt, as trousers often do not accomodate for their tails. The tartan pattern was later introduced in influence from the Scottish kilt, but is in no way, traditional to the macropodine style of dress. The pleated backside usually is slightly longer than the front side, and is typically draped over the tail. When hopping, the kangaroo normally lifts up the backside of the kilt with his tail, for which reason this side is typically longer.
