I'm glad someone likes it, even if I'm not altogether satisfied with it at this point.

General superstructure shape, comms, life-boats, UAV launchers, rails/fences, are some of the things I need to add/work on.

I wonder if I have enough VLS bays. ASE will tell me 'never enough', and I'm sure that sentiment is widespread around these parts.

Is it even necessary to have more than one railgun per turret? IIRC, the reason behind the multiple barrel guns of older BB's was so they had a higher chance of hitting things. In PMTville, I assume one could aim a Railgun to get the projectile inside the opposing commanders mouth if I so desired.

yes but with two railguns you can have 2 shells in his mouth. eh? ehh? I think you only need as much as you need.

EDIT: And Baj, can I get a FT soldier on your marine page? I will make a version of it for you as reference you know if you want to change the armor to make your Logistics commander happy...

whats with the darker shade on half of the hull
it also seems logical to move the rear superstructure forwards and merge it with the main bridge, leave the rest for vls spam because thats mt warfare
also where b funnels

...that's a great idea moving the two together, makes the entire rear end of the ship nothing but long ranged missile love.
I wasn't aware nuclear powered ships needed funnels, as I did not spot any on the Nimitz.

I saw some nuclear cargo freighters had funnels, but their absence on the only nuclear military vessel I could bring to mind dissuades me from slapping one on there.

Gosh darn it, I will remember the length and draft of this vessel even if it means it'll be scribbled in the corner for all eternity.

Thank you for the compliments, I'd say with a few more details/tweaks/shading I can call it complete, or simply abandoned as da Vinci would say.

I'd agree with this. There wasn't any technological hurdle that existed in WWII which prevented a military from using modern camouflage. Presumably it was simply either too expensive or the idea just hadn't occurred to them at the time. A suitably wealthy or forward-thinking military could have gotten away with it, so the only question ought to be whether or not the player minds having uniforms that look like they came from the nineties rather than the forties.
