Yeah I'm thinking in terms of Private, Corporal, Sergeant instead of thinking outside the box.

Crazy because the Rheinell Military Company doesn't even use a traditional naming system lol.

I tend to use all ranks rather than have some as grades, like in the US military .

That shows originality.
I may work on the etymology of my ranks as well.

Edit: Oh btw, I find the camo you made for ali quite multi terrain, in my opinion, so if you both don't mid, I shall use if for capes, cloaks and waist capes

Good work but you should really have another squad to raise your total from a mere 28 to 36. 36 heads are better than 28 when operating in a hostile environment.

Nah, 35 is how many the US Army does it, isn't it? Britain has 28 man Platoons. Anglophile Army to the rescue!

Overall good work from both of youz. I really feel like all these lance corporals should have sergeant rank though.

Opinions please.

I like that female pose a bit more than the MYO sheet... seemed like the woman was nearly taller than the male equivalents on the old sheet and very thin compared to male soldiers, even if she was supposed to wear similar gear. (Uniforms in combat don't tend to "accentuate the positive" of the female form... better for them to look like the guys when under all the armor and Kevlar and combat gear to not single them out for some nefarious purposes, n'est-ce pas?)

You can't really tell the difference unless it's marked, there's only subtle differences.

Long hair in a bun behind the K-pot perhaps? Not too obvious in the fog of war, but for our purposes it's a way to tell. We don't always have to be searching for realistic accuracy, esp. if the camo pattern makes it hard to see there are female contours on the figure.

Archaic English term currently only used by the Rifles Regiment of British Army. My nation uses b/c bamf, like the command 'Fix Swords' (also used only by Riflemen) to replace 'Fix Bayonets' because when Riflemen first got rifles they were shorter, to ensure that Square Formations were still uniform, they got longer and more-swordey bayonets.

The term and spelling "Serjeant" was in use by the Brits in official War Establishment docs (the many hundreds of them and their wartime variations) as late as WWII. Also, watch out for the British and Russian "Warrant Officer" designations, as they are closer to senior NCO's (US-equivalents to Master Sergeant and Sergeant Major) than they are to US-equivalent Warrants who are promoted NCO's in highly technical specialties. (Then again, the concept isn't really that different in some respects.)

Also, Russians tend to have a lot of Warrant Officers because of having a conscript army. Most of the highly skilled technical trades require long-service volunteers so the Warrant Officer grade sets them apart from conscript starshinas and praporschiks (sorry if my phonetic Russian is off - starshina is a sergeant and praporschik is sergeant warrant officer or "technical sergeant"). If I'm in error, I'll get back with you as I am digging for my Russian military resources right now to verify if my memory served.

Not really, a L/Cpl or V/Cpl in my case, are incharge of 5 men, and a Corporal is incharge of a Section in many Commonwealth Nation Armies.

You guys are cool with using CPL. The reality of it is many tables of organization list the highest rank a soldier in the position should have. Such as a US Squad Leader (typically an E5 SGT) may be listed on the TO&E as an E6 SSGT because that is the highest grade allowed to hold that job. Assumption being that you can have a mustang Corporal attend Basic NCO Course training through correspondence, through unit duties and working with their unit cadre, etc. and earn the skills to be assigned the Squad Leader role. As long as someone too junior doesn't get the job - most armies will promote a mustang to a minimum grade to occupy a job the staff wants the soldier to fill.

I have two types of Warrant Officer: 1 and 2. 2 is something like Quartermaster Sergeant or Coy. Sgt Major. while WO! is something like Regimental Sergeant Major or Conductor.
