Brief information about the ambassador: Bjørn Andersen is an experienced diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, having served in various embassies in various roles for the past thirty years. He was born to a working-class family in Southern Storvik, but unlike many of his background opted to pursue a higher education. He graduated from the Sjøfarer University with a master's degree in international relations in 1981 and after completing military service in the Navy, first started working for the People's Security Bureau before transferring to to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1984. In 2001, he became Chief of Cossackian Relations of the Ministry and has been attributed to the successful defusing of a border skirmish in the isle of Ragnarsøy in 2007. In 2013, he was sacked from the position of Chief of Cossackian Relations on virtue of his continued political support of the Socialist Worker's Party, and instead has been assigned with the establishment of the embassy in Moorburgh.
