Weapons in your nation

Hi. I couldn't find a thread that talked about nations' weapons in general, not just tanks, nukes, etc. Apologies if I didn't look hard enough

[Kodiak and Kolumbia]

The Kodiak Army's primary weapon is the M16A4 equipped with an ACOG scope. Their secondary weapon is a Five-SeveN pistol. The Kolumbian Army's primary weapon is The People's Rifle, which is a specially-modified AK-47 designed to perform well in high-altitude environments. Their secondary weapon is the Makarov pistol.

Our main service rifles are the SIG SG550, the XM8, or the recently natively-developed bullpup BAR-88. AK-74s are issued to conscripts, to be used in times of war.

Concerning Civilians/Citizens and firearms. The Armed forces/Law enforcement are the only bodies of authority permitted to carry arms. We do not see any need for the general populace to own firearms and to do so will carry a hefty prison sentence.

The standard assault rifle for the HRA (Hondoraian Republic Army ) is the Barrett REC7 with the 6.8 cal. equipped with ACOG scope.Every soldier is issued the REC7, FN five seven pistol, gladius style short sword (12in blade length) weighing at 2lbs, and KA-BAR (overall length 11.75 in).

I am proud to announce that the Hondorain military have masters laser tech! Which means we have defense systems that are able to shoot down a couple of dozen enemy aircraft or missiles within seconds. Laser systems have been mounted to select aircraft, naval vessels, and vehicles for various purposes.
