Today, the leadership of the Communist Party of Hippostania and Socialist Revolutionary Party of Hippostania, two far-left political parties that have been exiled from Hippostania for almost a century, met in Rotterdam, Herrebrugh and announced the formation of a Provisional Government of the Socialist People's Federation of Hippostania.
The purpose of this is to gain monetary and political support and diplomatic recognition for the new government. The two parties had previously operated two separate governments-in-exile due to ideological differences. CPH was anti-revisionist while SRPH was closer to anarcho-communism than traditional marxism-leninism. Nevertheless, the party leaders agreed that an united front was necessary to maintain the existance of a Hippostanian far-left movement. In a statement released by Andrew Christophe, President of the National Council, Christophe encouraged all like-minded nations to grant diplomatic recognition and monetary aid to PGSPFH.
Due to travel bans and sanctions, none of the members of the party or their families in three-to-six generations behind have never even visited Hippostania. Nevertheless, the members of the PGSPFH insist that they are Hippostanians who have simply been exiled by the current ''tyrannical government''
Hippostanian government's official policy regarding the founding of the PGSPFH is that ''they're not our citizens, and after this little incident they certainly never will be. They're a bunch of crazed communists, just let them scream in peace until they calm down a bit''.
