The United States Army's Basic Combat Training is 9 weeks iirc.

You'd want something around 1-3 weeks.

I think US Army training during WW2 was like a month of nothing but combat training. Their MOS gave them any other job-related skills.

You didn't include any speicalization training though which is another Four weeks; And if you are Deg Marksmen thats another four weeks for weapons training.

M1 Training in the US is 15 weeks after BCT.

So you are implying that in that time period the Soldier gets what? Rusty with the weapon?

Its more than 4 weeks. Thats all I was stating in an attempt to support the fact that militia don't have nearly the time put into as professionals do.

And no, they still keep up with their weapons, however the priority is with the armor.

The French Rifle grenade?
Oh lord that thing is both hilarious and terrifyingly amazing.

I dont have any familiarity with the French rifle grenade, but what I do know about them is that the ACS58 is actually a really cool concept with good execution. They make them in multiple warheads (HEAT, HE, Fragmentation, Thermometric, Dummy, Smoke(?) Ect..) and arent to heavy, but I dont know how many they carry. Its very cool.

As for your question, Yes. It certainly would be. Especially due to indirect and direct fire capabilities.

*Why do the French have so much kool stuff*
Hmm...if so I might dump grenade launchers entirely and give grenadiers the computerized sight and bunch of rifle grenades.

You guys sound like Bastards :lol2:

Not that we can talk...We exposed our own troops to Sarin to get an Enemy battlion when they marked it.

No regret for those men giving up their lives to send a thousand or so enemies straight to whatever black pit awaits them.

No, No, You misunderstood i meant speicalization as in additional Training a soldier recieves you know thats why i mentioned DEG marksmen, Them along with Snipers recieve Four weeks if not long additional training on the rifle.

I didn't i had a fairly book standard training back in 2000 but enough about me.

I think we both just misunderstood each other here, I was talking about a speicalization of Marksmen who get trained on a battle rifle for longer then say normal infantrymen.

Tomorrow I'm taking a dremel tool to it. I compared the trigger pull on it to the TAPCO G2 in my WASR, and my WASR's breaks much easier and crisper. The K-Var/Arsenal trigger group on my SGL is a two-stage, so I'm just going to dremel off the little lip that's catching the sear on the hammer to turn it into a single-stage and then polish the hammer up so it's much smoother.

Good times.

The M320 is a grenade launcher. Did you mean "M240?"

The G3A3 ain't not carbine, you are likely thinking of the G3KA4 which is a carbine version with the collapsible meat tenderiser stock.

Of course one would ahve to wonder why you would issue a 7.62x51mm carbine to complement a 5.56x45mm rifle. Unless its purely for super special types who would proabably want soemthing a bit "flashier" and custom like an HK51 (G3 cut down to the point you can use MP5 furniture on it, commonly seen covered in rails in the airsoft world as the G3SAS).

I give you, good sir, the FN FCU.
I personally don't know what the difference between the 850N and 1.5M is (aside from one having an 850nm laser and the other a 1550nm laser, not sure personally what difference this would make in use either), but the 1.5M seems to have training modes as well.

AK-105 is a small carbine, despite Russian doctrine turning the rifleman into a suppressive unit rather than a killing unit, I'm not sure it's useful compared to issuing his platoon mates with RPKs and SVDs.
Props for the choice of the SVDK though :P

The main military rifle of the CSA is the Tredegar Automatic Rifle, which is a modernized version of the STG-44. It is accurate on full auto to 600 yards, and accurate on single shot to 800 yards.

Saracen doctrine is fire a lot of bullets for suppression, let the artillery hit the target @ carbines

That and carbines made sense when said doctrine was "lolurbandefensive".
