Honestly, you can't have only 500,000 people in a nation. You either have no workforce, or you have children that are raising themselves.
Just a hint, your military really shouldn't be more than 8% of your total population. I have over 150,000,000 people and only 3,000,000 soldiers.

There's the Magal, which is chambered in .30 Cal Carbine. I'm not sure you necessarily need a sub-machine gun. There are carbines almost as small. The only Israeli sub-gun I can think of is the Uzi.

There's the Magal, which is chambered in .30 Cal Carbine. I'm not sure you necessarily need a sub-machine gun. There are carbines almost as small. The only Israeli sub-gun I can think of is the Uzi.
