If you want, you can use my SPT pistol (I am aware that the writeup is lolshort):
Image
Name: SPT Semi-Automatic Pistol
Place of origin: Yanintovia
In service: 1978-present
Designed: 1972-1977
Produced: 1977-Present
Weight: 0.9kg loaded
Length: 208mm
Barrel length: 116mm
Cartridge: 9x22mm Yanintovian, 9x19mm Parabellum (export)
Action: Short recoil, roller locked breechblock
Feed system: 20-round detachable box magazine
In 1972, the Yanintovian Army issued the requirements for a new sidearm; it should be compact and light enough to be easily carried, extremely reliable and highly accurate in combat situations, and have good stopping power, the ability to penetrate body armour at short ranges, and reasonable recoil. In 1977, a pistol designed to fulfil these requirements was submitted for testing. It received positive reports, and by the next year, it was adopted into service as the SPT.
Like the later APP-02, the SPT was designed to fire the powerful, high pressure 9x22mm Yanintovian round, which can use the same bolts as the common 9x19mm Parabellum. As such, only a barrel change is necessary for the SPT to fire 9x19mm rounds (and others derived from it, like 6.5x25mm CBJ), and because the gun was designed to fire a much more powerful round, the action is strong enough to fire even the hottest 9x19 loads. Rather than a recoil- or flash-reducing device on the muzzle, the SPT instead has a muzzle crown, allowing easy modification and adjustment depending on the situation. The SPT also features an "open" slide, which makes jamming very rare. The SPT's trigger uses a Double/Single (DA/SA) action, which gives the advantages of both Double and Single Action (DA and SA respectively). The barrel is chrome lined, which gives it a longer life, makes it easier to clean, and protects it from wear and corrosion. The safety catch is operated by the shooter's thumb and is easy to access. Even in the field, the SPT is designed to be field-stripped with no tools very quickly and easily.

The shotgun's a rather niche weapon. The Russians never really bothered with the things. The KS-23 was intended for police usage, and the Saiga and Vepr shotgun families have only recently made Russian service.

Could you give me a reason why it´s better than the CZ series ? So far I have only
noticed it´s weighing less.

KelTec KSG

Pump Action (forces a controlled RoF)
Two Tubes (Can load, say, buck-shot and non-lethal rounds)
Bullpup (Is possibly the shortest 'full-length-barrel' shotgun in use today - good to avoid people grabbing it in a fight and twisting it out of your hand - can be slung across the chest while driving easily)
Looks BAMF (Slight intimidation factor)
Has Rails (Can attach things to it)

Speaking of shotguns, I'm unsure as to how they should be issued. I'm WWII-tech, so would I just issue them to designated members of a squad that was operating in an area were they would be likely to provide an advantage (ex: urban regions, trenches, etc.)?

That looks quite cool and all,but does my military really needs it ? It looks like quite a good choice
for law enforcement, but might be pricey no ?

It also might come in for my spec ops in close quarter combat.

(Also keep in mind I want to draw my soldiers later on,how am I supposed to draw some of
those compact weapons :p ).

I can't think who would have carried a shotgun in WWII militaries. Most armies' armament would have been either a rifle, a submachine gun, a pistol or no or few combinations thereof.
Shotguns obviously were issued, but I'm not sure if there were dedicated operators for them, just guys who went and got them.

Someone come kindly correct me on this :P

Explosive weapon? Some form of UBGL which fits to the Galil, and something which fits to the Tavor (if can do both then best). Either Mk19 or HK GMG (I'd go for GMG personally) for Grenade Machine Gun. MBT LAW, maybe? Corda does a nice ATGM which he doesn't sell AFAIK, but you can get an agreement with him.
Pistol? I'd go for w/ever you want. I mean, I have the (much over-advertised) bull-pup, metal-storm, revolver action, double-barreled and fully-automatic, .357 Sig side-arm. M1911's good though.
SMG? MUST use service pistol cartridge for non-logistics-suicide. If you use the .45ACP then, maybe a UMP45?
HMG? Russell S Robinson, ngl is fucking A. viewtopic.php?p=10647304#p10647304

If you want a shotgun, might as well. If you want, I can try to do it in MSP for JG scale. So what if it's pricey, it's a specialist weapon and is a shotgun. You could buy crates of it for one IFV.

I think that Western Armies occasionally issued them in urban things. But I have no citable source, just some vaguely remembered source of someone talking about how he got given a shotgun before they entered some city by the platoon commander as part of special issue.

Apologies, Moderation Team for the GIF. I have removed it, but obvs cannot remove it from the quotes. I would urge anyone who has quoted it to edit it to *snip*.

KSG (IIRC) - automatic alteration between tubes, firing 13 shots without doing anything but pumping.

My Nation is new to this and so am i but i am guessing that you guys are talking about the weapons you have on this game.

Well i have recently invested 4 million Maman pounds into buying 30 German- panzer tanks and 60 Tiger tanks to my army as well as recruiting and a giant army of 4 million professional soldiers and around about 500,000 R.A.F specialists.

If I am honest,I would only need shotguns for Law Enforcement.

Most of Liugark is either Steppe,Desert or Mountains. There are some Urban Centers but they are a rather
small part of the country. So shotguns are not of real use.

You can do it in literally a second and a half. Besides, you're not going to have a situation where you have to wonder whether the next shot will be lethal or not.

But, if you're a police officer you might need to use a Taser round on a protester/robber, before using buckshot if his compatriot pulls out a TEC 9.

Anyway, idc, I like KSG, you like 1216.
