I found a .50 machine gun that isn't the M2, so a .42 M249 has already left my mind.

That being said, .35 AK variant anyone?

Are you trolling us?

Depends.
Mainly on if one already exists.

Regular forces use the older Vietnam-era equipment, SF tend to use the newer stuff.

A lot of what you have is pre-WW2 era.

I always have been.
And right now I'm tied with practicality, and I will not leave until I'm winning.

Honestly, though, I can't imagine the slightly longer round is really going to give you an edge.

It's the thickness that counts.

For a given increase in radius, it will increase your volume for much more than the same increase in length.
But of course, the length adjustment is easier to do and accommodate.

Given some of what you've said, I could ask the same.

Izhmash is already making a .38-caliber AK variant. That is greater than your supposed AK variant by 0.03".

Tie game.

With a round bigger than a .50 BMG, and full-auto...
This might end up replacing the M20.

Something that could only have been created in drunk stupor, russian style. Besides, what are the chances of that actually getting distributed among infantry? I'd imagine the only good use for it would be brush hunting Tyrannosaurs.

The standard issue Side Arm is the M1911 pistol.
The standard issue Rifle is the M1917 Enfield.
The standard issue Shotgun is the Winchester Model 1912.
And the standard Machine Gun is the M1919 Browning.

My nations tech level is somewhere between America's between WW1 and WW2.
I'm basing it off of Amestris from FMA so we also have a few early tanks.

It's only an AMD with a drum mag and Thompson foregrip. Nothing inherently unrealistic about that at all.

They could have at least used the drum from the RPD to make it look realistic for 7.62x39. Although to be fair with my limited knowledge of guns that might actually be a real AK drum or something. So what ever.
