I am not.

Plenty of "assault rifle" calibre submachine guns. This is one of them. Also see: HK53, those weird cut down G3s, AKS-74U, MARS, XM177E1, etc. Classification depends on the role you want filled by the firearm, not by calibre. The fact that most submachine guns are chambered in pistol ammunition is mere coincidence, not a rule.

Hello humans. I am Sporekin, specifically a European Umber-Brown Puffball (or more formally, Lycoperdon umbrinum). Ask me anything.

Yes. I have heroes who, on occassion, have tied with a god (gods who are actual gods, not whatever MarvelThor is), including one who has a long standing grudge with the Sumerian goddess Inanna. I also can, if the situation requires it, equip my troops with nuclear bullets.

Yep. Magic compresses 0.5g of graphite to fusion point, resulting in an explosion with the equivalent of 2.21 tons of TNT.

Yes, you've discovered the Russian .50 cal is slightly longer than the NATO round

Woot

Also, its a machine gun...of course its full auto.

Also, M20 is what? Cause, even with its light(er than other .50's) weight and the ability to deploy on a bipod...its still not going to function well at the squad level, I don't think. Seems to be intended as company-level asset at best...obv. for mounting on vehicles and AA...as the article says.

Thats actually a valid point. I did not consider that.

Honestly, though, I can't imagine the slightly longer round is really going to give you an edge.

By FT my people have slaughtered their gods and become gods in their own right. They consider small planets to appropriate weapons for individual combat.

I found a .50 machine gun that isn't the M2, so a .42 M249 has already left my mind.

That being said, .35 AK variant anyone?
