In the Imperial Terran Republic we resolve conflict by two ways.

1st we try very hard to negotiate a peace talk with the hostile nation.

If the aggrieved party is the weaker one or knows he's a bad shot compared to his opponent, he will use devious tricks to damage or kill the enemy. If he's the stronger, he'll just start blasting or even hammer the other guy into sheet metal with his bare fists. Of course, if the other guy turns out to be a better fighter, the resolution of the conflict will go in the other direction.

International conflicts? Enemies can look forward to being on the Raid List. Decepticons who raid from nations on this list will be paid a premium for their loot. The amount of the premium and which resources it'll be paid on depends on how angry we are at the other nation. If that doesn't cause the offending nation to bow to our demands, outright warfare may follow. If we do go to war, we will do our best to utterly destroy the enemy nation. That which no longer exists cannot cause further conflict with us.

Between Citizens/Businesses: Most likely negotiation. Usually, before they even take it to court, both parties usually settle for a deal that benefits both of them so they don't have to spend money on lawyers and take time out of their day to go to Court.

Between Political Parties: Violence. Threats to destroy them if they don't get absorbed into the Sol-Luna party and if it's a party that is a threat to the Sol-Luna Party? Leaders are called traitors to the State and imprisoned or enslaved. Usually though, it's the former to harmonize the government and absorb new ideas.

NATIONAL: Crucilandians oftentimes settle disputes through negotiation. If the matter cannot be decided on by the lesser individuals or parties, it is taken to outsiders of the conflict for mediation, followed by adjudication if a supreme authority on the issue can be located.

INTERNATIONAL: Often through negotiation and diplomacy, Cruciland attempts to convince the other side to agree with their opinions facts. If they continue to dissent, the result depends entirely on what the argument was about. If it is not serious or in violation of our moral codex, we will use mediation to come to a reasonable compromise. However, it is not often things end that pleasantly. Often, the international event is of considerable importance to us, and refusal results in spamming the opponent with weapons of mass-destruction. (note how one of our tropes is "No such thing as overkill")

Conflicts are solved by a Duel. Weapon choice is that of the receiver of the duel offer, though any firearms are banned. Typical weapons are daggers, javelins and crossbows. Groups choose representatives to duel for them, though Negotiations and Arbitration are sometimes resorted to.
