Usually, the main battle tactic that the Luwinian military would use would be similar to a Blitzkrieg. The main military power of the Luwinian military, the Luwinian Sky Fleet, would launch an attack on an enemy by dropping bombs and securing the air field. Then, ground vehicles and ground troops would move into the bombarded area and finish off what the Sky Fleet started.
If its naval warfare, Luwinian Super aircraft carriers would be launched into offensive positions with aircraft bombing and and destroying naval ships. Attack submarines would come in very handy as well.

wouldn't that mean basically just attacking the enemy by catching them off gaurd?

Our Sky Fleet would be surprise itself. You most likely couldn't stop an aerial assault from Sky Fleet even if you had anti-aircraft. The bombings would devastate the area enough for tanks and ACPs to come in and finish the job. Its similar to a blitzkrieg in that sense.

it's different from what i do i just try to get my airforce to take dominate the air space and then send in bombers and ground troops, cause in war having control over the air space can prove really helpful

My thoughts exactly, but I use a more radical tactic: Get in, get done, and get out. :D

I basically use the IG tactic.

Count number of enemies.
Add a man for each one.
Multiply by the enemy's rate of fire and ammo.

Gridea is a very defensive nation. We do not like to plan for the offensive, because there are no intentions of having to do so. Only reason for an offensive would have to include taking back lost ground.

Considering the mountainous terrain, ambushes and guerrilla tactics are heavily favored. This is further amplified by the fact that civilians are always ready to pick up a rifle in the nation's defense due to the always threatened state of the nation.

Take this quote from a Japanese officer during WW2, describing the USA. The same is true for Gridea.
"You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."

The Gorgolianian Forces rely more on their capability-centric forces to gain the upper hand in battle, primarily due to our mediocre Navy, persistent manpower shortages and not having too much land territory. Though very few in numbers, our soldiers make up for it by locally outmatching the enemy at the focal points of the battles in hopes that the enemy troops will be hopelessly dealyed or addled by our small-scale shock tactics.

To this end, the greater part of our standing forces are capable of matching levels of excellence such as attained by enemy special forces. The primary doctrine is unconventional defensive warfare, favouring ambushes, sabotage and infiltration. Some within the military have termed it as the 'Hearts and Minds' Doctrine, for our targets are enemy morale and organisation.

Then again, the Government is not at all scrupulous about arming the nation to the very last man should need arise ...
"The weak are strong because they are reckless. The strong are weak because they have scruples."

But of course use the necron tactic or ogre tactic

Necron=Hey look, we can destroy vehicles without a problem and ourshoot the enemy! They'll have nowhere to hide from our endless rain of fire.

Ogres=Hammer and Anvil. Anvil is the basic militia to hold up the enemy. hammer is the powerful things that crush the flanks :)

The Hammer and Anvil tactic is a military tactic used since the beginning of organized warfare. It was used mostly in the ancient world, including by Alexander the Great

Lincoltshire's army has always been made up of primarily volunteer infantry brigades. As such, we have refined many tactics for light infantry to overcome armor and heavier infantry in the dense forests of Lincoltshire.

EDIT: Unicorns and Pegasi give us an obvious advantage.
