Well in Agymnum, we just let them grow up as they are. Many have gone on to become famous researchers (we're a nation of researchers, so no surprise there) and scientists. A few have held positions on the venerated Regent Board, our governing body.

If they wish to be assigned a gender when they grow up, they can have surgery and nanobat implants used to adjust their body to the gender they desire.
