Nevertopia's current Prime Director is openly bisexual and is frequently on entertainment news for her various sexcapades and lovers, much like her politician father was before her. Nevertopia's culture tends to regard the LGBT+ community with indifference as it did not have the puritanical influences of the early abrahamic religions to sway public perception nor does any of its religious institutions see homosexuality as a sin. Theres simply no preconception of homosexuality being a sin in Nevecian society and outside of personal preference you're seen as sort of weird to be against it.

Should she become The Royal Observer, she would immediately leave the WA, and the sun would set on Laka LGBTQ population- Veronica had read a lot of books on the history of Holocaust for a reason...

While he dislikes LGBT culture and finds aspects of it objectionable, especially LGBT stuff that involves children, Protector-President Antônio Soares respects the innate desires of LGBT individuals, claiming that "the individual must be free to do what he wants as long as it doesn't hurt others". He also spoke in favor of maintaining the Retrograde Act 5, which illegalized homophobia. All men condemned for homophobia are stripped of their citizenship and are raped as punishment, and the Enlightened Protector-President doesn't care about this widely criticized law. Soares does seem to somewhat favor gay men over lesbians, as he said once that "no women can be truly happy without a man", implying that the sexual life of lesbians is dull.

It's important to note that, despite the Enlightened Regenerationist movement having some reactionary views, there is a faction in the movement that supports "mandatory bisexuality".

She is firmly against homophobia, and believes that homosexual members of the proletariat are just as valuable as heterosexual members of the proletariat. However, she does care whether an individual, based on whether they are or not, is mistreated or disadvantaged in society. As a result, she tends to take the axe to any institutions that dare mistreat or refuse individuals any form of service based solely on sexuality.

She has also specifically implemented federal-level policies against any form of persecution and mistreatment of any and all who are different from 'the norm' when it comes to sexuality, with exceptions noted only in the case of legal and amoral circumstances. These federal-level policies are baked deeply into the government's structure, and forbid even local governments from overturning them, regardless of what the people there believe.
