Nation: The Onigiri Enclave
Capital City: Wasabi Mysterium
Key Facts
Wasabi Mysterium is located near the center of the thick and serene Gyakusetsu Forest just west-southwest of Mt. Fabulosity, The Bunny Fire's tallest peak. The city is often draped in thick fog, and snow can often be found falling in the city nearly half the year. Over 102 million Riceballs live in the capital, which is seemingly built in and around the forest. While each building has extra wide sidewalks around them, including extra space for bike lanes, and are widely spaced out, Wasabi Myserium has no actual paved roads, instead grass, trees, and the forest floor resides where roads would be. Many tourists are amazed to see mighty cedars, redwoods, and elms growing in concert with behemoth skyscrapers, or that the forest wildlife of the Gyakusetsu Forest, such as deers, bears, sasquatches, xenomorphes, monkeys, and so on, so casually co-mingles with the city. As such, most Riceballs commute either by foot, by pack animal, sled, helicopter, fighter jet
(helicopters & fighter jets are ridiculously cheap in The Onigiri Enclave), or by monorail or subway.
As we are a direct democracy where all our citizens, by means of internet connection, act as our nation's legislature, so we have no legislative building to hold a Congress or anything of the sort in Wasabi Mysterium, but we still have an executive house, Subarashī Koya, a winding, conical helix-like 47-story house built around a mammoth sequoia tree where our current El Presidente, Lord Nanfoodle resides.
