The capital of Freehaven is St. John's, simply because that was the historic capital of Newfoundland. Very, very few people are religious and there have been referendums to change the name to things like "John's Town" and "Freeport", but none of them have succeeded due to low voter turnout making the results moot.

The Ebanteosian Congressional Assembly Building, which houses the Ebanteosian Congress, that has 330 senators and 949 regional delegates.

The Maiden of Hope: A statue of a woman being shot down by imperial troops of the former Ebanteosian Empire, while holding the Ebanteosian Revolutionary flag. This symbolizes all struggles endured by our nation's people, and what we are willing to die for.

The Guardian's Monument: Overlooking the Uliez River, from atop Mt. Kytinsk, The Guardian's Monument is another tribute to the lost and fallen from the Ebanteosian Uprising. It is a large cemetery comprising the 12,390 murdered by Ebanteosian Imperial guards, many of them being civilians. On the cliff of the mountain, overlooking Scruluz and the lush forest and river, is a marble structure which contains the tombed remains of the most instrumental revolutionaries in the Ebanteosian Uprising. Some of the most noted entombed are:

Josef Sutekh- Ebanteosian Revolutionary. Known for attaining the rank of admiral in the Imperial Guard, Sutekh was involved in a war with a neighboring country. During this time, Sutekh became unstuck in the propaganda he had been fed his entire life. He saw atrocities committed, and when the Uprising began, Sutekh immediately followed the path and began a path of civil disobedience. He was tortured for these acts. He repeatedly said that the worst thing they could take would be his will to carry on. He was killed in Imperial custody by a bullet to the head, just weeks before the revolutionaries stormed the Imperial Palace, effectively ending the reign of the Ebanteosian Empire.

Vanja Miroslav- Ebanteosian Revolutionary. Was raised in the rural village of Hustrit, in Southern Ebanteos. Began studying and reading Marx after leaving for Scruluz. When uprising began, Miroslav became a dedicated revolutionary. Joined the illegal Ebanteosian Democratic Communist Revolutionary Party. Was with revolutionaries when the palace was stormed. After the new government was set up, Miroslav was elected the Minister of Foreign Policy, being Ebanteos' ambassador to all neighboring countries. She died 27 years after the founding of the Democratic Marxist State of Ebanteos, as a result of a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Arkady Prokhor- Prokhor was 9 when his father was killed under suspicion of treason. This motivated him to speak out against the Empire. He traveled to Scruluz University to study economics and history. At the age of 25, he graduated top of his economics class and one of the top in his history class. Soon after, he founded the Ebanteosian Democratic Communist Revolutionary Party. Once the party gathered 40,000 members, and when the public was still in shock over the 80 killed in a peaceful protest outside the Imperial Palace, the Ebanteosian Uprising began. The revolution lasted 17 months before the current nation was founded. Prokhor was elected Chairman of the Ebanteosian Admiralty Board, being the leader of Ebanteos. He died of a stroke 7 years after the revolution.
