Brief History

In the Early A.D., the Roman Empire ruled the land that New Embossia currently occupies. Over time, it eventually collapsed making way for countless nations to come. Then, suddenly, in 1773, a revolution was sparked in the Ottoman Empire. The Army of Emboss, led by William Emboss, led several deadly campaigns against the Ottomans, ending in Ottoman collapse and Embossian dominance in the Balkans. Following the Embossian takeover, the nation was named 'New Embossia' in memory of the late William Emboss and the capital was named 'Embossia'. Some say his strong spirit lives on in the city, as the city has survived over 5 invasions since founding. Embossia currently sits on the seat that Instanbul and Constantinople formerly held.
