The fourth city by this name, the city of New Aurora is the new Capital city of Ra And.

The first city by the name of Aurora was destroyed in 1916 in what is only known as the Al'as Incident. Further records of that time have been lost, but it is known that this was the first settlement in the Randian homeland.

During the Great Civil War there were two cities that went by the name of Aurora, both were named the capital city of two opposing factions that attempted to rule the Randian homeland -the Randean Republic and the Eastern Alliance- the former was severely damaged by war, and the latter was destroyed by liberal use of Lost Tech by the Greater Polarian Union.

Following the end of the Great Civil War and the pacification of the home territories, the new Randian administration decided to reclaim the original territory of the first city and build the new Capital city of New Aurora there. Utilizing -as well as integrating- modern technology to the new megalopolis.

Ibasira -- Adzar

The capital city of The Empire of Ibàsira. The city was founded in 1001 AD by lord Bènwà Emìkodzàk, it is located at an elevation of 1301 meters. Most of the area in Adzar has little to no differences in height, the south-east is rocky and has lots of differences in elevations. The largest river of Ibàsira, the Ilimùrr river, flows through the heart of Adzar. Ibàsira was rather divided during the time Adzar was founded, especially the area around Adzar was quite literally a mosaic of lordships and little kingdoms, some had an area as small as 2 km². In 1109 AD these little kingdoms and lordships were united as the Ikti of Jožaz by Julos Emìkodzàk, who was, at that time the ruler of Adzar and the surrounding areas. Adzar was was designated as the capital of Adzar. It was then that Jožaz itself became a major threat to the surrounding, larger kingdoms which were known as Iktis. The Ikti of Parux was the first Ikti to realize the threat the ikti of Jožaz would form against their economy. The Ikti of Parux, having control over the mouth of the the Ilimùrr river, and, ultimately control over sea trade of Jožaz, knew that the only way to keep Jožaz at bay was to stop any Jožazian trade ships trying to enter the sea via the Ilimùrr river. This essentially cut off Jožazian sea trade and damaged the economy of Jožaz. Adzar was hit badly by this blockade. The other neighbouring Iktis, Madzuke, Mùdarr and Ložapùr-Olso had no desire to trade with another ikti who's economy was on the brink of collapsing. The food supplies were dwindling. In Adzar many people died of starvation. Finally after months of trying to reason with Parux, which led to no success, Jožaz declared war on Parux. A war, which they thought was already a lost war to begin with, yet, the underfed Jožazian soldiers fought fiercely against Parux and emerged victorious, with this victory Jožaz gained control over the mouth of the Ilimùrr river. The economy of Jožaz, and especially the city of Adzar, improved dramatically. It was known as the golden age for Jožaz. Adzar, benefitted from this economy boost, people obtained a lot of wealth from sea trade now that the river was under their control. This also led to a large increase in the population of Adzar, and also a little bit of an increase in the ego of the people of Adzar. It was at this time that slavery was first practised in Adzar. The people from Parux, who followed a different religion were immediately targeted by enslavers.

Right as the economy Adzar reached its peak, their trade ships became attacked frequently by ships from the Ikti of Madzuke, trying to claim a large part of the Ilimùrr river as their own. Madzuke borders a large portion of the west-side of the Ilimùrr river. This eventually led to a second war, and a large dip in the economy of Adzar as a big part of the Ilimùrr river was essentially a war zone. But again Jožaz emerged victorious over Madzuke, their great economy allowed Jožaz to gain better firepower than their enemy. This ended the dip in the economy of Adzar and all other areas of Jožaz. The people became more egocentric and they knew that they were ultimately superior than all the other Iktis. This led to massive crusades, Jožaz continued and managed to conquer 5 more Iktis. The nation then became known as the kingdom of 8 united Iktis, Adzar remained as the capital of the kingdom of 8 united Iktis.

In 1367 a large slave uprising occured in Adzar, hundreds of slaves tried to rebel against the empire. They murdered, destroyed and burned all in their path. The army was immediately sent to stop the uprising. This eventually resulted in the deaths of 341 slaves, 41 citizens and 2 soldiers. More than 20 houses were destroyed, burned to the ground. This uprising shocked the entire nation, but also inspired the citizens in some of the outlying territories to rise against the kingdom. Eventually, the 3 most outlying Iktis, Śolam, Ložapùr and Olso started to rebel against the government. This forced the kingdom to fight on 2 fronts, the south-west fron and the south-east front. Many ordinary citizens had to be conscripted. It is estimated that roughly 20% of Adzar was conscripted to fight on the front.
This gave the kingdom the edge and the rebels were stopped, though with large amounts of casualties. The population of Adzar was decreased by 8%.

In 1712, an explorer who was born in Adzar, Hàseliro Emìdamaso set sail to the north in search of new land, he discovered a large island group to the north. When word of the discovery arrived back in the kingdom, the at that time ruling king, King Esto Emìfàrrkwa, claimed the land as his own immediately, disregarding the indegenous people who lived there. He renamed his land the Empire of Ibàsira, which means Land of the Sea, and became the first emperor of Ibàsira. As colonization continued, first contact was made with non-human sapient species in another large island to the north. These non-human sapient species were then shipped back to Ibàsira as slaves. Many of the slaves had to work in the coal mines or on farms. As such, many of them were originally shipped to the city of Adzar. It was untill an uprising in the colony by these indegenous people that the colonists were forced to retreat and the enslaving of Non-Human Sapient Species stopped. However, this also led to the non-human sapient species who were already shipped to Ibàsira as slaved being cut off from their land as they were forced to stay in Ibàsira. Eventually in 1945 the slavery laws were adjusted to the same standards as humans, which stated that only those who do not follow the Bàtiskar religion, have done criminal deeds may be enslaved. It also stated that a father can enslave his own children if he wants to, regardless of the religion a child follows or if he hasn't committed any crimes as long as the father does not enslave more than half of his children or more than 3. Not many Non-human sapient species were set free after these adjustments, only 5% were set free.

Today, Adzar counts 3 300 000 inhabitants and it is still the capital of the Empire of Ibàsira, the non-human sapient population is a little higher than the nation average, 5.7% are Non-human sapient species. It is the largest city in the Empire of Ibàsira. It is a popular place for sightseeing, some of the landmarks in and around Adzar are the Imperial Palace, and the beautiful Ilimùrr Waterfall just south-east of Adzar. The city has a decent airport to the north with 2 runways. There are 3 national highways connecting Adzar to the rest of the nation. the N-1 goes to the north and leads to the N-4, the longest highway in Ibàsira which runs along almost the entire coastline of Ibàsira. The N-2 goes west to the city of Olsen and the N-3 goes south to the city of Èlpiràs
