The Islamic lunar month of Ramadhan is roughly identical to the Kawaiian lunar Moon of the Rat, the first month of our year. However, our religious equivalent to Ramadhan falls four months later, in the Moon of the Dragon. It was in that month that Lord Gojira and the hosts of kaiju devastated the Kawaiian homeland and forced our people to flee into exile. Since then, the Moon of the Dragon has been commemorated by fasting and prayer.

Ramadhan does happen in Salemland, but despite the laws, Muslims are still a minority and it isn't that festive, except locally. The Prince officially follows this fasting.

Ramadan is not an officially recognized holiday due to the incredibly low amount of Muslims in Vesium.

We have a small amount of Chechens and we really don't care how they celebrate their religion as long as they aren't trying to wage jihad against us.

We don't celebrate Ramadan in Zokoria, as Muslims are just a tiny minority in our country, and yet, they face suspicion and harassment.

We don't celebrate Ramadan in Lialoth. Firstly, deliberate ritual starvation is seen as deviant and self harmful at worst and insulting at best.

Secondly muslims and islam are unheard of in Ormedhen. They simply don't exist as populations or an ideology.

Ramadhan in the TBRE does not generally differ from that in other nations for the Muslims who live here. They may do as they wish, due to freedom of (And from) religion here.

There is a large community of Ahlabushian Muslims, and they observe the Ramadhan. The Ahlabushian people themselves have a very strong, ethnic, connection to Muslims and Arabs. There is evidance of that, because the Ahlabushian language can be written in 3 forms of Alphabet: Latin, Ahlabushic Ogom and Arabic.

Minoa public television is secular by default although the events are usually acknowledged in some programmes. Of course, there is an abundance of religious television on satellite and cable. Islam is narrowly the third largest faith group in Minoa.

There is a lively and decent amount of Muslims in the Third Terra Nova of Scrin, however still few to trigger the public on celebrating Ramadan.

Ramadan is only celebrated by Muslims and only Muslims are exempted on school and work during Ramadan. It is up to management or authorities to just problem it.

San Leggera has only a small population of muslims, but some television channels and radio stations, etc, have programmes on it. The media coverage is scarce, though.

If someone wants to celebrate Ramadhan, that's their business.

But they're certainly encouraged not to - as it's bad for businesses, given that it means people are less likely to be consuming products such as Greasy Joe's, etc.

Furthermore, children aren't allowed to participate in it as it would mean they don't get enough nutrients*, and furthermore under Radiatian law you cannot force a religion on a minor, they have to old enough to make up their own mind.

*Of course to be fair, most Radiatians don't get enough nutrients...

If someone doesnt want eat in daylight hours for a month we are not going to stop them, provided they do not take it to extremes and stop eating altogether. That is just crazy.
