I think that it is possible for even the smallest countries to beat larger nations, it has nothing to do with population or size it as more to do with moral i think.

My military is 4 times bigger then his, but he funds his military five times more then mine meaning he would have better and more advanced equipment. Also a larger population so i would have to say it would be a long and brutal battle, but Irentian would lose. :/

Truthfully speaking these threads are somewhat pointless because everyone in them assumes that they'd win most wars, but no one ever provides a supporting argument for why they'd win, nor does anyone take the time to do proper research into the nations they're hypothetically warring against. Since these threads move quickly, you don't have much time to look into the history, military doctrine, geography, military statistics, et cetera of a nation before another player posts, which would mean that you can't properly formulate the realistic outcome of a conflict without it being invalidated by another player posting. This boils down to people checking the founding date of the nation above them, comparing it to their own, and seeing which one is older.

But I digress. I would probably lose a war with the nation above me because my military was severely weakened in a recent conflict, and because my country is currently in a state of chaos.
