They only wish that they and their allies were powerful enough to pose a threat.

Since we have a pro-socialist and anti-imperialist foreign policy, the USA and all their friends hate us. Since we have abundant wealth and natural resources, they eye us with fear. And then they see some statistics about Zebulor (such as military budget) and crap their pants.

TurtleShroom is on a warm relationship basis with the Americalandese. We are considering pegging the Skillet to one fourth of their Dollar (that is, $0.25). However, we were once very close allies, back in the 1920s and 1930s, when we were one of the biggest lobbyists for them enacting their failed Prohibition of alcohol. When they repealed it, we went our separate ways.

We respect Americaland greatly, but don't fear them. They are far too distant to be a threat to our country, and they never return our calls or invitations, and they'd rather buy oil from filthy Muslims than us, even though we have more oil than themselves and the Muslims combined. Again, the distance is probably why.

No, because we're extremist Christian crusaders and the USA seems to be pretty cool with that. If we were as extremist about Islam or atheism as much as we are about Christianity, though, that could be a serious problem.

We were America, once.

Of course, you might be operating under the constraints of a single-universe reality, in which case we couldn't tell you per say if the USA in your universe was a threat to us at all. Likely, they have no idea we even exist. In a multiversal reality, however, amongst the infinite alternate USAs we can safely say that our America is no threat to us.

Because we used to be them, you see. Until the nukes came in 2024. Frankly, we're the better for it - the USA was in an isolationist deathgrip by the superheroes who used democracy against itself and forever tainted the idea in our minds.
