The USA tried to invade us in 2029 and we responded by destroying the New Texas wormhole as a last resort. However, since opening the Freedom Island wormhole, thanks in part to being swamped with immigrants, and in part due to a temporal paradox, our economy, technology, and population now exceed that of the nation we left behind. As a result, they are far less of a threat to us than they once were. However, we know they have agents inside our nation attempting to subvert us, and have more allies than we do, so we cannot yet afford to lower our vigilance.
