Index of Flag/Map/Seal/Logo/Cupcake Makers

So I've been around NS for a while now (coming up on three years this month) and I couldn't tell you how many threads on F&NI I've seen with people either asking for or advertising creation of maps, flags, seals, logos, or 1/44 scale models of Cthulu. Seems to me it would be a good idea to list everyone who is willing and able to do so in a sort of one-stop shop for NS graphic creation. Just fill out the little form below, I'll add it to this OP, and if we get a fair number of people on the list, maybe the mods will sticky the thread.

So wait... how do you apply to someone to do graphics work for you? I mean, do you have a link to a seperate thread for them for work requests or do you put in requests here?

All you do is find someone on the list who can make what you want and send them a TG asking for it. Or, if you don't care who does it, you could post the request right here in the thread and one of us will probably pick it up.

@ Maltropia and Ainin: I don't have much time right now (about to go out), but I'll add you guys to the table when I get back. If you behave, maybe I'll bring some cupcakes of my own

I apologize for everyone that requested something from me, but my hard drive has shit the bed (I'm on my phone now). I should have some limited ability to take requests in a couple weeks, but until then everything will have to be unfortunately put on hold.

Seriously though, Fanaglia, as I see you use Fractal Mapper, are you completely autodidact or are there any tutorials out there you can recommend? I'm asking because I'm trying to learn myself it, and was severely disappointed at the amount of "official" guides avaiable.

I never found any tutorials I liked, either, so yeah, I just kind of taught the thing to myself. IIRC, I made a little bit of use of the "Help" section, but that was about it. It's a little overwhelming at first, but it all ends up making sense in the end. I would consider helping to walk you through it, but the computer I had it installed on died and I don't have it anymore for my new one. I suppose that means I should remove that off the programs I list then, lol.

Have you checked YouTube? Idk about FM, but I've been using it to teach Blender to me, which is even more overwhelming.

Anyway, good luck; just keep at it.

Going ever so slowly through YouTube, I have the attention span of a goldfish

But I've found some neat specific guides so far though
And I've been also just been experimenting with the functions and settings in FM, I might actually be able to learn some of the basics on my own

And I forgot to compliment you on your map, it's very nice! :lol:

But I'd never ask if it wasn't, right?

Graphics Tool(s) of choice: Photoshop CS6 for raster work, Inkscape for vector work (I prefer Photoshop as I've been used to that for over 2 years, and I've only recently started using Inkscape.), Greenfish for maps (partially).
