Verdeguay has never had any colonies in any way, shape, or form, and it never will. Verdeguay fully repudiates imperialism and colonialism, by whatever name, in all cases.

Augarutzen used to be a colony of Augarundus. After Augarundus' fascist revolution, it fell out of control, its communist party declaring war on Augarundus. ((I've since stopped RPing on Augarutzen, essentially killing it).

Escafin was a colony of Augarundus until 2013, when a rebellion occurred against the fascists. After having gained its independence, Escafin was a third-world nation for three years until it destroyed most of its military and began relying on militia. It's a developing nation.

We have eighteen colonies: Beershabia, Hermia, Skhalia, Meliskiva, Humskia, Stuckia, Robit, Detsituckua, Noneia, Tyenia, Stenia, Grtynia, Homnia, Yeuaka, Stenya, Uneiska, Tyenski, Sentia, IIdf. All total we have 500 million subjects.

The Peoples' Republic of Guanzhong used to hold Bei Battor as a protectorate, and later a semi-autonomous region, however it was ceded to Hobit as part of the Treaty of Saigon. We still recognize it as a sovereign state.

We currently have dominion over Marx-und-Engles. Marx-und-Engles, previously a half of The Commonwealth Godly Nations, was purchased from the Commonwealth in exchange for 5g of pur-eh tea and a crate of fortune cookies.

The Borderlands of Crabulon have a seperate government and culture but are still part of the greater Crabulonic Empire. The planet of Follas-2 was created when Henri Follas, our nation's greatest engineer, left the planet to colonize, thus moving us up to this point, the glorious present of FT. The Follas-2 population is largely Crabulonic, so trade and treaties exist between the seperate autonomous governments.

Currently, the Empire of Volzgrad contains two states that could be classified as 'colonies.' The first and oldest would be the Imperial Protectorate of Rynibar, which was conquered some time ago and now currently has minor autonomous status. The second and most recent would be the Kingdom of Arglenia, which was conquered and formed into a puppet state several years previous. Both nations are technically autonomous, but the Empire maintains a harsh grip on the governments of both.

As a result of events in our regional forum's roleplaying I ended up with a number of colonies last year - the five areas marked (Rh) below...

The island of Lehpuhrta is no longer situated in the Sea of Regret as it was transformed into a flying base of operations by it's governor and later disappeared (a result of the schemes of the island's co-ordinating AI involving the development of time travel - archeological evidence has come to light suggesting the Lehpuhrtans may have been responsible for the birth of the Aztlarhan civilization - a precursor of the Rhanukhani - over 8,000 years ago). That desert running east of Lazarastra passes through two other nations before reaching the western provinces of Rhanukhan so the colonists can be a little cut off at times.

In the NS game itself, Rhanukhan scientists did once run a puppet nation whose political decisions were genuinely governed by a magic 8-ball as a social experiment. Disturbingly that nation eventually started proving better than Rhanukhan in several respects and had to be reabsorbed (it's now the province of Okhtis) before word got out and started giving citizens ideas.
