New Zhonggou’s Geography

New Zhonggou’s geography is a very harsh and unforgiving landscape. Due to overpopulation in China, its government decided to send willing men and women to Antarctica. The absolute location is in between the 15 degrees west and 165 degrees east longitude and from 80 to 66.5 degrees south latitude. Our coastline is about 6,500 km. We control the sea up to five miles out from the coastline. The terrain is vast and bare. It is extremely cold and dry. Also as far as we know no other nation even attempted to start a nation here.
New Zhonggou’s Economy

New Zhonggou’s economy thrives despite the fact we live in this icy tundra. Our major exports are several different types of marine life, gold mining, and a rather unexpected large oil reserve. Our major imports are foodstuffs, like vegetables and fruit. Our nation’s unemployment rate is 4%, while our GPA per capita is 31,678. Our main source of electricity comes from the use of wind turbines, though upkeep on them is hefty. Our nation has adopted the policy that our people need to fend for themselves with little to no help from the government and, with that in mind, the poverty level is a chilling 3.895% but it is significantly less than when we adopted the policy, 62.419%. The exchange rate for our money, the yaun, is one yaun for .8534 USD since we maintain little to no debts and have a low inflation level, 2-5% most of the time.
New Zhonggou’s History

Our nation’s history began with the overpopulation problem in China. The leaders of the nation decided to send willing men and women to Antarctica so that there would be more room in the main land. For the people starting out they had to face many challenges. They had to figure out how to build structures that could withstand the howling winds and how to get everybody electricity. After a year of hardship the Chinese decided to take it upon themselves to help out the once owned colony, after establishing the colony it split from China to pursue its own ambitions. They partook in a massive building program to create a massive mountain to make it less windy and have less snow fall. While doing this they uncovered a gargantuan deposit of gold, which is what the people paid China with. The people now live on the calm side of the mountain and next to the sea. To fulfill the energy needs of its populace the government imported millions of wind mills to plant on top of the mountain, once again paid for all in gold. After that the economy skyrocketed and the population thrived.
New Zhonggou’s Military

The nation’s military is almost non existent except for defensive capabilities. The one and only branch is the Department of Defense with there being more security officials than military, only about .742% of the population is in the military. This might seem suicidal but each member of our society has taken some sort of basic training so if we need it, we can send the majority of our populous out to protect our soil. Our budget is what most would call overinflated, runaway, but we need to be able to keep the weaponry we have operational and we also need the latest in technology satellite pinpointing systems. In total we spend a quarter of all our exports on our military budget, this includes populous boot camp training, research and general up keep of our weaponry.
New Zhonggou’s Government and Political Structure

Our Capital is named New Beijing in honor of our mother nation. We are a right-winged people that have deep morals that cannot and will not be broken. Our proveniences our as seen on this map (hyperlink to map). Our founding is on May 6, 2016 and our independence was handed over to us in September 13, 2016. We consider law and order a very important sector of our government; as such we have a rather large portion of our government’s bureaucracy in law enforcement and the programs they use along with the national database in which we keep everybody’s records. AS implied in the above texted we believe strongly in law, so the judicial branch of the government is the largest. As for our political parties we mainly stick to right winged candidates though anybody can try to become president.
New Zhonggou’s People and Population

We have sixty-five million people at the moment, though we are always growing. We have higher standard of living and as such our population has a life expectancy of ninety years. We allow anybody that wants to move and stay in our country, do so, and we allow the vise-versa. Our populous is mainly comprised of Chinese decent, though a substantial minority is of Caucasian decent. Our national language is English, taught at school, while most children learn Chinese as a first language (the percent of children that learn Chinese drops ten percent every year though).
New Zhonggou’s Communications

Our countries code is 96, our web TD’s include nzx, nzc, and nzv and most all of our populous owns a computer and has assess to the internet through a free service that goes through the air waves. Cell phones are omnipresent around the country, because of this T.V. is feed digitally.
