Like I said in my post, the same lighting effects that apply to the area around you apply to your uniform.

A .44 Magnum, which the Desert Eagle is chambered in, is a 240 grain bullet. By comparison, an average .30-06 round is 180 grains, a nine millimeter is about 120 grains, and a .223, which is an M16 round, is a pitiful 55 grains. "The bullet isn't that big". When it is bigger than a bullet you can kill an elk with, it's pretty damn big.
Failure, the military does not use 55 grain bullets they use 68 grain hollow-points fool.
And Furthermore I modified my M4 to shoot 6.5 mm Grendel.
No, the US Military uses FMJs, and Geneva states that FMJs are the only bullets permitted against infantry.

The desert eagle is a cumbersome(and overrated), civilian weapon. It has a monstrous recoil and isn't used by the military because a lighter pistol(like a P22, Glock, USP, ect.) is much easier to use, and much more efficient in a combat situation.
Second, if you really have to issue it to your military, what is the point of plating it with gold? That's a waste of precious money that you could be using to improve your military, government, OR MAYBE FIND A BETTER SIDEARM!

The Imperial Service Rifle Mark IV (ISR-MkIV) is but the latest manifestation of the Empire's favoured personal armament for its brave warriors featuring generations upon generations of stringent development to ensure that the heroes of the fatherland are armed with the finest weapon, one that is utterly incomparable to shoddy foreign trinkets!
The Mark IV fires the fearsome 8.1mm Imperial Standard, the very same our great grandfathers used to great effect in the Great war! However do not mistake it for an obsolescent antique, like our firearms, the ammunition themselves have undergone numerous advancements to ensure that Nicksyllvanian military supremacy is absolute! You see, the 8.1mm delivers a demolishing 4575J of raw power, anything lesser would be a travesty and an insult to the physique of the Nicksyllvanian man, unlike the effeminate foreigners and their miniscule rounds. This stupendous round will cause even the stoutest foreign hooligan to keel over, allowing for unparralleled mayhem, dispatching enemies of the state have never been a more amusing as you watch the corpses pile up like firewood!
Naturally accuracy is also premium priority, the Mark IV remains accurate to no less then 750 astounding meters! Ever more riveting is that several of our top marksmen have reported kills at double that distance! Aiming has never been a more trivial matter with our accommodating sights, the beastly ruffians will rout in terror as you slaughter them from a distance like the animals they are!
You may now be asking, picking off the enemy at a distance is amusing and all, but is it not far more sporting to engage the enemy at close quarters for civilised martial combat? Surely the Imperial Army is not crass enough to deny me the glory of disembowling the enemy personally! Of course not comrade, bullets are perfectly fine defending territory, but wars are not won by sitting in a trench, nay, it is the offensive in which victory and glory lies! The Mark IV allows for a shimmering 40cm bayonet to be mounted, indeed as we expect it to be mounted nearly at all times we ensured that the bayonet will stay rigidly attached, no matter how deep you stab into troglodyte innards and twist! And for occasions where one prefers a more blunt approach the stainless steel buttstock serves as an exceptional blunt instrument (Pun intended!), see if you can drive the IQ of those foreign degenerates up a few notches by knocking some sense into them! As such the Mark IV is truly a phenomenal melee and ranged weapon, worthy of only Nicksyllvanian hands! (Indeed the Mark IV is usable only by those whom are right handed, preventing those nefarious lefthanded foreigners from utilising it without it chewing off their ear)
Fabulous! Wonderous! Prodigious! Will the miracles never cease with this staggering, spectacular weapon? Only the Mark V will tell, until then my esteemed brothers, the fatherland presents to its loyal people the monumental Mark IV!
Glory to the Fatherland! Glory to the Emperor! And above all Glory to you, and may you strike down your foes with impunity!

Granted, but you stay in gerbil form for too long and can't change back. You are then put in your father's rectum during one of your parent's "kinky nights"
