Our state religion (as well as the most dominant) is probably Roman Catholicism, but most of our clergy, except the Cardinal, Bishop, and Archbishop, dress like Fundamentalist Protestants, instead of wearing robes.

Women and LGBT people are not allowed to become members of the clergy, but if they do so, secretly or not, they shall be excommunicated and banned from being members of the Catholic Church.

The religion of Magmia is Yeshuaism, which is a spiritual philosophy within Christianity (A description can be found in my sig). It is probably most comparible to Christian Mysticism, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, the government appoints the clergy of all churches that excede 300 members and all of the clergymen must follow a cirriculum established by the state. Although allowed, women very rarely become clergy. We also appoint the clergy of all other religions to ensure that sedition, hate and terrorism are not being promoted. We also wiretap any religious gathering places suspected of preaching the things just mentioned

We are a generally (~80%) nontheistic nation, but we do have priests and priestesses. Below are priestesses of Athena performing a lighting ceremony using a parabolic mirror and sunlight.

The majority of the Anglo-Saxon Commwealth are Roman Catholic, with the same clergy. We have 12 archdioceses and 60 dioceses. Protestant clergymen don't dress in robes that much.

The official religion of Gothagl has no name. This was not an oversight on the part of the Gothuh'e themselves, but merely a reflection of the fact that this is simply the way things are done in Gothagl, in much the same way that we do not have a name for the way in which we live out our lives. Scholars from other societies have occasionally referred to the faith as Perignostic Gothagian Pantheism.

Gothuh'e spirituality focuses around the worship and service of powerful beings called the Gnaii, which is a non-gendered parental pronoun. The Gnaii are thought of as the progenitors and ultimate consumers of all things. When we divide that service into purely spiritual roles, we come up with a two-tiered heriarchy of priests, though the concept of rank is vague at best and depends largely on personal influence and power.

We have two types of cleric, the hafh'drn and the gof'nn. The Hafh'drn employ the role of the priesthood in western monotheism, leading the Gothuh'e in their worship, be it prayers, sacrifices, rallies, rites, or even (on occasion) in military campaigns. The contrasts with the introverted Gof'nn, who seek to become as much like the Gnaii as possible.

There is no fixed uniform for the Hafh'drn. The wild climatic shifts of Gothagl make it impossible for all priests to dress the same. The colours black and gold are common. Priests of exceptionally high influence and percieved station can be found in elaborate raiment of black silk with gold embellashments and obsidian symbols of power. Tattooing is commonplace.

Among the Gof'nn, however, there is even less uniformity. Gof'nn intentionally seek out things to set them apart from their fellow men. Some engage in ritual mutilation or surgical alteration of the body. Others were born with physical defects after successive generations of inbreeding among other Gof'nn. Some are said to have mutated spontaneously, twisted in form by the will of the Gnaii.

Our nation is Firmly Atheist. If You want to get married or register a birth or whatever, You just go to your town Clerk’s Office and He or She will take care of it (For a fee)

There was one “Priest” though. The Head of The Exceptionalists declared himself “Supreme Authority on the Immense power of our Divine Master, the All-powerful, All-knowing, supremely Righteous and Most Holy Zwebog.” He basically turned Vudnia into a theocracy, curried to the favor of Grand Prince Marcus the Mad, and almost renamed the country after his imaginary god.

His picture is censored because his face alone is enough to send the most calm of persons into a boiling murderous rage. But if you really want to see who he is...

Image

Though he is shown here wearing black, a “deviant” color, he would regularly engage in behavior contrary to what he preached. One of our spies had followed him his entire life and managed to collect thousands of photographs of him drinking alcohol, romantically kissing men, wearing “abominable” colors, and other acts which he preached against. After his “half-death” due to a stroke, he has been kept alive via the most advanced machines available, locked into his own body, and the photographs of his hypocritical ways have been circulated all over the world.

Saiyan Paganist Druids are separated into 6 categories.

The initiate
Image

They are simply students of the words of the gods Kalmah, Notch, and the Blackened One.

Battledruid
Image

The Battledruid runs around and kills Christians and Ponyists. He lives alone.

Berserkerdruid

This guy is the same as a Battledruid, but actually fights in wars.

Domestic Preacher

They preach in Wellboneland, and only in Wellboneland.

Travelling Preacher

They preach everywhere and look less fearsome than the domestic preacher, to not scare away the natives.

High Druids

They are the people who declare sacrifices and celebrations, and deathmark enemies.

Soldiers of dictatorships, they don't care about you or anyone! All the care about is the benefit of themselves and undermining eveyone around them! What the dictator does is treat you like machines, not humans! They think they can tell you whatever to do and you will do that! They even expect you to murder children just because of thier greed! The dictator has a black stone for a heart,a demon where thier sanity should be,and only care about money, not the benefit of the people! They fight for supremacy, not equality!Fight for freedom, not slavery, for liberty not captivity.

The state religion of Phing Phong is Buddhism, of which there are five official varieties: Theravada, Mahayana, Japanese, Caodaist and Huynmist. The latter two do not generally identify as Buddhist but their religious governing bodies are members of the National Buddhist Congress and therefore are included as Buddhist under the government definition.

  • The Theravada school practices extensive monasticism, and most Theravada Buddhists will spend a year as a novice monk after leaving secondary education. A small proportion of these novices pursue a full monastic life and receive complete ordination. Their monks wear saffron robes, while the nuns wear light pink.
  • The Mahayana school does not practice monasticism to the same extent, although it does exist. As such, monasticism is a more formal undertaking and the majority of novice monks go on to receive full ordination. Priests also exist, and are allowed to marry unlike monks. The monks and nuns wear dark red robes.
  • Japanese Buddhists affiliate with many different schools and often practice Shintō as well as Buddhism. They are technically an ethnolinguistically defined subgroup of the Mahayana. Their monks and nuns wear white robes, which other than temple architecture is the main distinction from Mahayana.
  • Caodaism has an organisational structure similar to Catholicism, including such levels as priest, bishop, various forms of cardinal and Pope. Women may not become the highest level of cardinal or Pope, and any clergyman higher in ranking than a priest must become celibate. Caodaism does not practice monasticism and its clergy have various different garments.
  • Huynmism has two forms of clergy: acolytes, which dedicate their spiritual aspect to the study of Huynmist scripture; and monks, which dedicate their spiritual aspect to meditation. Both paths are equal in the religion's structure. An acolyte or monk will wear either red, black or yellow, depending on whether or not they focus on certain scriptures in their practice. White is a forbidden colour for Huynmists to wear, as it is only worn by demigods and the dead.
