Dinolandian Embassies Now Open

To nations of this world and beyond,

It is my pleasure to announce that I, President Sslurglý, have opened up our nation to the construction of embassies. Since breaking 500 years of isolation, I have wanted to develop friendly relations with as many nations as possible.

We will accept any offers for an embassy offers, so long as the demands are reasonably and the intentions are to keep or develop friendly and peaceful relations between our nations. We ask that ambassadors tolerate and respect our various species and traditions, as doing otherwise will cast a negative light on your nation.

Most embassies will be constructed in our capital, D'ra City. You are allowed to select the district. We have three districts that we have primarily opened to embassies, all close to the Government District. We have the Knowledge and Education District, where most museums, central library and top universities, including the Magic Academies, of D'ra City are located; the Entertainment District, where the art museums, concert halls, and other forms of entertainment are held; and the Central Market District, where the most shops are, although there are markets in all districts. If there is another location you desire, you can request it. All districts can have embassies built in them.

All applications will be read by our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karen R. Johnson. We hope that you take advantage of this offer to help us open our doors to other nations.

The Dinolands is a beautiful, peaceful nation of 8 million citizens. The main island where the capital is located is the largest island, and there are five other island provinces, and a part of the continent closest to the islands. The majority of citizens are dinosaurs, but dragons, pterosaurs, humans, wizards, and elves live here, too. People are allowed many rights, so long as they do not harm other beings. The nation's technology is not as stunning as other nations', but we are great with what we have, especially considering how many people study magic.

• Ambassadors are given immunity from committing a minor crime, but will be imprisoned for committing a felony according to Dinolandian law. Capital punishment, however, will not be issued unless your leader requests it. We will contact your nation if this happens.
• Embassies will be considered territory of the nation it belongs to, and therefore is held under your laws and customs rather than ours, and we shall respect that and adhere to your customs. We ask that ambassadors do the same when outside of their embassies.
• Embassies are meant for peaceful relations, and as such, we must ask that no excessive forms of security are used. We ask that you keep security to a maximum of 10 if you use PT or MT, or 8 if you use PMT or FT.
• We ask that you send no more than 8 who practice magic, and that you explain their powers in the given section of the application.
• Most vehicles are frowned upon, as we have excellent public transportation and can provide private transportation at the request of the ambassador, but if you must provide your own, it must run on electricity, as it is cheap and we do not use anything else in our cars.
• Ambassadors are expected to respect all of our species, including both reptiles and mammals.
• Ambassadors and diplomatic staff are allowed in most areas of the Governmental Buildings and the Governmental District, except of course living quarters unless invited by the person who lives there.
• Machine guns and explosives are prohibited.
• Any who practice magic are allowed to attend any Magic Academy of the city freely, children and adults alike.
• We have not declared war on another nation, and hope we never have to, but if you want we can sign a non-aggression treaty.
• Your nation should have a civil rights rating of at least 50, but 40 will be accepted. For ratings 25-39 the following questions to make sure your nation is considered acceptable:

  • 2. Does your nation condone slavery?
  • 3. Do you have universal suffrage, for what the population may vote for?
  • 4. Do you use capital punishment? If so, what for?
  • 5. How does your government view gay marriage?

Being a Draconid, she is very tough and can withstand a lot of damage, but she still would need at least one person nearby her at all times willing to defend her if absolutely necessary.
