Here, I would like to share a very important reason why the Aqua people are mainly atheists and non-religious.

There are four levels of schools in the Aquaria, which Kindergarten, Primary School, Secondary School and University School.

Religions are banned in Kindergarten and Primary School, which means that a Kindergarten or Primary School with an official religion does not exist in any place in the territory of the Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria. All teachers in Kindergartens and Primary Schools are encouraged not to spread religious values. This is done due to the federal government believing that it is not appropriate to let children touch any religious values before they truly have the ability of an independent mind. It is considered brainwashing if someone tried to spread religion to someone under 13, and their parents have the right to report to the People's Police Force.

That said, many children only started to know or understand the existence of religions at the age of 13 or even older. The percentage of religious secondary schools and universities is still not very high, which a percentage of 39% and 21% respectively. It is somewhat considered the main reason why there are many non-religious or atheist citizens in the Aquaria since many of them still refuse to become religious even though they have grown up.
