My country is very patriotic and does not like the idea of illegals constantly trying to force their way in. Though we do sympathize with them, we like to keep our nation pure and its citizenry genuine. Even if we did allow them into our home, they would most likely be thrown into the "gutters" of Zirekath, left to fend for themselves. Unless, of course, they agree to serve in our military for a few years and become a Zirekathian.

1. We have an EMP field around Xekliv which disables any type of technology that goes in or out, and works as a forcefield to organics. How do WE get in and out, you ask? There are massive gates dotted across the borders of our nation, which will only be opened to Xeklivians, Equestirans, basically any sentient non-human there is.

2. The borders are patrolled at all times by guards, drones, and aircraft.

3. All Xeklivians have gray skin. If a human were to sneak into our nation he'd stick out like a sore thumb.

We would encourage them to immigrate to our country and even if our Border Patrol was to find any illegal immigrants we'd let them in anyway, as long as we are sure they would contribute to the economy in some way.. and after five years, they can apply for citizenship.

The short answer is: It depends. If it were a country which we share a strong cultural and linguistic affinity (meaning, in our case, that it is Slavic) we would probably encourage immigration. However, if we start to experience social problems (such as an increase in crime or drug use) within the immigrant communities, there would likely be a public backlash which would result in calls for more restrictions on immigration. If it is a non-slavic country, there would already be strong restrictions on immigration in place.

The wall at the DMZ is to keep an invading army out, not refugees and immigrants.

It'd really be a lot easier for them to come in legally anyways. We have no problem with people coming into Constarus as long as they follow proper procedures.

Our nation is surrounded by a massive, 20 foot high concrete wall, that is 2 feet thick. There is no possible way to get into our country, unless you go through customs, which is a 2 hour process. As we know of, no illegal things have ever gone into our nation, as our border officers are fantastic. Although you may think the 2 hour process is a bit much for people to actually want to get in here for the day, you're wrong. Since Lukquarel is so awesome and fun, over 27,900 people come into our country for the day (mostly because the counties that our visitors live in suck. All the nations we border are terrible, and impoverished).

This happens. We don't do anything at all about it. You can just walk right across. We have a few watchtowers here and there, but they're just looking out for things like invading armies, and just sort of ignore the random immigrants and tourists. What right-thinking individual could possibly object to a readily-available source of cheap domestic labor, anyway? It's either that or all your jobs get outsourced to Outer Elbonia. Slaves. You can never have too many slaves.

Plus, "doing nothing" is incredibly cheap to maintain. Who wants to put tax money towards patrolling borders, when this will only raise your costs?

Heh, really? You guys actually believe that? You've never heard of ropes and shovels? And NO one has ever gone through? And your border officers are fantastic?
