Post pictures or just describe it in text.

Xeklivians/Humanoids: Right arm diagonally across chest, hand balled into fist over left collar-bone while shouting "Rga'htn". Or in english, "Glory".
Equines/Quadrapedals: Right foreleg diagonally across chest, shout "Rga'htn".

The military salute is the right hand held at a 45 degree or so angle to the right temple. The raised fist salute is popular with certain political elements.

The traditional salute of the Yrysh-Fynndjall peoples and thus the Skibereen Armed service is far older than the nation itself, or the than the Republics which form the nation.

The salute is executed with the left hand, the fist is balled, the arm is raised from side rotating the fist so that the back of the hand is facing up and the palm towards the ground, the elbow is held out from the body at 90 degrees, the fist strikes the chest above the heart in a snap than the motion is revered and the arm returns to the side, a salute is never held.

Academics attribute the salute to two specific cultural points, one gestures made with the right hand are considered rude, and friendly gestures made with the right hand are also considered insincere. This is because the right hand is farthest from the heart and thus malign gestures do not offend one's spirit, and one's heart is not committed to false gestures of good will such as a hand shake, tip of the hat, or ...salute.

The second reason academics believe the salute developed in this fashion is because it is quick and may done almost unobserved at a distance, as well the traditional fighting styles of Skibereen use a knife in the reverse grip in the left hand, this style of salute may be done with weapon in hand.

The official salute of the military in the TBRE is to touch your eyebrows / hat brim / glasses, and have the elbow bent below the point where it would be horizontal with the shoulder. The palm should face inwards, outwards, or not at all, depending on branch of service.

1. Put your right hand over your heart, and make one of 3 symbols...
THREE NON-OPPOSIBLE FINGERS: Saluting to peers and superiors, or people you wish to respect of a lower rank. Shows submission.
FOUR NON-OPPOSIBLE FINGERS: Saluting to inferiors and people who have disappointed you. Shows dominance.
"FINGER-GUN" SYMBOL: Saluting to enemies. Shows murder, hatred, and dominance. (WARNING: You will get killed for saluting to someone this way!)

2. If the target is a distance away, point to their head(s) almost as if you were looking for Kyle.

3. Don't forget good posture! Stand up straight and make eye-contact! This is important if it's a formal occasion, unless if you want to be called a hoodlum or something.

Our only salute is the raised, clenched fist.

The Redsarkian salute is a clenched fist (doesn't matter which) clasped against the middle of the chest combined with a quick bow of the head.

The arm is held out forward straight, with palm down, and fingers touching. Some versions have the arm is raised upward at an angle, which is normally used in the military.
