Postby Belkan Provinces » Sun Sep 27, 2009 1:10 pm

Here are the questions:
What Branches of your military have Planes?
What Type of Planes are they?
What is the most popular?
Post a pic of your fav. camo scheme

EXAMPLE:

Ours would be the navy, marines, defense force and the airforce
Navy- SU-33's, F-18's, and MiG-29K's
Marines- SU-33's, F-18's, F-14's, and Harriers
Defense Force- MiG-29K's, SU-27's, SU-34's, SU-33's, SU-47's,Tupolev Tu-95
Airforce- Mig-29's, Mig-27K's, Tupolev Tu-95, Tupolev Tu-160, SU-27's, SU-34's, SU-33's, SU-47's

What Branches of your military have Planes?

All of them.
What Type of Planes are they?

What is the most popular?

It's an aeroplane, not a fashion statement. If you mean the one we use most that's in our inventory, that would be the Northrop-Grumman F-23A Black Widow II. The following four are also rather extensively used, although they're in short supply:

1) Layarteb Defence Corporation F-55C/D Shooting Star II
2) Northrop-Grumman FB-23A Strike Widow
3) General Dynamics A-12 Avenger
4) Nachmere Precision Systems USF-2000 Grim Reaper

yes, our air is very powerful. it even smells pretty good too.

having gravity modifiction technology, cameroi does not depend on the limitations of aerodynamics.

singleships, which are space going life boats as well as personal motor homes, also window washer's anti-gravity platforms, mounted with scaled up stunn beams and energy beam excavating tools, the latter normally used to make tunnels in the ground, and the former, in there normal scale versions, used in every day police work, make dandy and super ultra-manuverable weapons platforms.
and of course the archtypal disk shaped "ufo" first contact scout ship.
also equipped with a metal disolving/sublimating energy beam.

we've also been experimenting with squadrons of lion bears riding kitterflys.

we don't have a standing military as such.

just a lot of civilian craft, and trained civilians, with ("military") second aplication capability.

kind of like the swiss universal citizen solder principal.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

Which Branches of your military have Planes?
All three branchs of the Crookfur Armed forces (Army, CFRN and CFAF) operate fixed wing aircraft, although the Army operates only a limited number of logisitical, communications and ISR aircraft

What Type of Planes are they?
The Crookfur Fleet Air Arm (CFFAA) operates priamrily carrier based tactical aircraft such as the CFFN-25A Astrapi, CFFN-29B Grand Dragon and CFFN-16B Terrier along side several specialist strike and logistical support aircraft.
The Crookfur Air Force (CFAF) operatea a mized fleet consisting of specialist air defence fighters such as the CFF-27A Kykhreides, deployable multirole and strike aircraft such as the CFF-29A Grand Dragon and CFA-15A Piledriver as well as a huge fleet of various support aircraft and Crookfur's main strategic striking force of CFB-6B Hephaestus and CFB-8A Hermes bombers

What is the most popular?
The msot common fixed wing aircraft is the CFFN-25A Astrapi although if the various models of the CFF-29 Grand Dragon were all counted as a single aircraft type it would just pip the Astrapi for the top spot.

All aircraft are under either the Navy or the Air Force, and are basically whatever the US is flying, has ever flown, or has as working prototypes.

Has anyone actually considered the issues inherent with using so much dissimilar equipment? I mean, you can ask the Iraqis as to how well that works out.

enjoy your logistical nightmare!

I'm pretty sure all of mine are native designs, 4.5th and 5th generation specifically. Don't have a comprehensive list anywhere, but a partial list would run
Multirole Fighters:
F-3 Kestrel
F-4 Peregrine
Strike Fighters:
A-17 Aurdania
Light Bombers:
B-something Strikers
another one
Heavy Bombers:
B-16 Hailstorm
Airships (fixed-wing):
Assault Battleships
L-79 Forrester [EW/AWACS]
one or two others -- non combat
Airships (rotary-wing):
Hospital airship thingy
Oversized gunship number 6
Oversized troop transport number 3 1/2

... and I always wanted one of Bretton's superheavy transports, but those are well outside my tech range (we're talking nuclear fusion ramjets.)
