State funerals are generally given to those of an important national significance, such as prolific politicians, military leaders, or icons. They include an escort by the First Presidential Guard, a flag draped over the coffin, and sometimes the body lying in state for four days.

Incorruptible politicians, Presidency family members, military leaders, revolutionary icons, or just people the Confederacy President likes - anyone who can play electric guitar and plays heavy metal / hard rock / rock, video game developers, or his own personal friends.

All funerals are held by the State, They consist of speeches from Influential figures and are held monthly so an body must be embalmed to last long enough for the ceremonial burning of the bodies and the spreading of the ashes over the Continent of Antarctica. (We would allow normal funerals but burials are impossible in the permafrost)

We only give them to our Chancellors (we are still on our first and thus only Chancellor so far) and the Speakers. It involves the politician in a sarcophagus and people assembled around it at a church. The ceremony involves the eulogy of the Chancellor and the Speaker, their will, and who the next candidates for Chancellor will be. Then Baba Yetu, the national anthem, plays and soldiers hoist the national flag. The Chancellor or speaker is buried in the National Cementary.

Since death is so very rare in the Alliance, anyone who dies is given a funeral which is broadcasted and mourned for Alliance-wide.

In Anglany, a few people are eligable for full state funerals, usually:

Grand Dukes and Duchesses (the ceremonial heads of state and their [female]consorts)
Crown Princes / Princesses (heirs to the throne, consorts to Grand Duchesses)
Esteemed politicians
Esteemed military leaders

The casket is paraded by the army through the capital where it is transferred to the river (the wide River Eli passes through city centre) where the navy transport the casket to the capital's state cemetery, or out to sea

State Funerals are for the Queen, the highest ranking officers, and for true heroes/heroines. They are buried in the Royal Tombs.

State funerals are held for military heros and those of high political stations like the chancellor or vice chancellor. They are carried out in long parades of military and law-like revelry and mourning. The flag is to be draped across the coffin, the imperial aquila to the left of the head and the seal of the UNSC to the right. The funeral train is to be drawn by four horses of pure breed.

The Chancellors of the Commonwealth are the only people who are given a state funeral by default (unless they did something to revoke that privilege), though generally anyone that had a large enough positive influence on the country during their lifetime (provincial governors, military heroes, famous and hardworking civil servants, influential scientists etc).

State funerals are given to presidents, military leaders and other hero's of war, national hero's, and on some occasions, activist. They are buried in a Mahogany casket with titanium-reinforced structures and a blue, yellow and black velvet lining. The casket is then draped with a Rubrum Natio flag that is weatherproofed and they are then buried honorably consisting of their peers.

It's elligible for:
-The citizens of outstanding contribution to the nation. One of such example would be given to Sir Charles Merton Regimbault, one of the World's greatest composers in early 1900s.
-The Prime Ministers of the nation. All, so far, were given a state funeral apart from PM Harold Ballard, who was executed publicly.
-Important war heros of the nation. It does not include war criminals whatsoever.
-Important members of the Royal Court and local governments and minor members of Royal Family.

The Emperor and the major members of Royal Family are illegible for the State Funeral. Instead, they're given the Royal Funerals, which are also funded by the Government and is considered a class above the State Funeral.

They are not given; we consider it inappropriate and ostentatious. If the people think a person is worth it, they will show up for the funeral.

Members of the Imperial family, Governor Kings (Governors of Dominions, appointed to the style of King), peerage Princes and holders of the highest ranks of the military automatically receive state funerals. If Parliament votes for it, a former Minister of State or other notable of sufficient standing may be nominated to The Emperor for a state funeral, but this is not guaranteed, however likely it may be.

They are not given, as we believe it to be a waste of time, and besides All men are equal in death, and deserve equal burials.
