Celtic Army
Overview
The Celtic Army is the land based branch of the Celtic Armed Forces. It is the secondary focus of the military budget, consuming 30%. It is a volunteer army, and conscription has been banned, though citizens are required to serve two years. The total number of personnel is 20,965,000, with 9,434,250 active personnel and 11,530,750 in reserve.
Objectives
• Defend the sovereignty and interests of Gaelic Celtia and protect her from those who would threaten her.
• Safeguard the liberty, life and happiness of the Celtic people
• Assist other government who face threats to their sovereignty, liberty or people
• Uphold the safety and justice of international law and security
Structure
The Celtic army is made of 689 divisions of 30,000 men each. There are 450 infantry divisions, 102 mechanized divisions, 97 armored divisions, and 40 artillery divisions. The Celtic High Command is the overall leadership of the army, and is divided devided into the Northern, Central, Southern, Eastern, and Western Military Districts.
