yes, he has his own rifles for hunting and defense but he keeps a P08 luger and a sabre

His Majesty King Gilligan VII maintains a large personal armoury of weapons, many of them historic or ornamental pieces that are not designed for use, as well as many rifles and shot guns for hunting.

Technically as King of The Imperial Empire of The Matthew Islands, and as such being the owner of The Imperial Armed Forces and owner of The Matthew Islands police force, His Majesty also technically owns millions upon millions of pieces of military and police weaponry as well. However, much of this ownership is based on ceremony and technicalities based on His Majesty's title.

Yes. We just don't use stuff that doesn't make sense like gold plating. Just saying, there is nothing that gives you away more than a big reflection from a rifle while you are hunting or something. So we have a plating that you can change. Camouflage wise. However the metal parts of the rifle are made of pure silver that we put a coating on to prevent reflection. Each leader has a different one as they are required to serve SOME time in the military anyway.

Both of our presidents have guards to protect them from threats, so they do not carry weapons on their person or, usually, even own them. However, President Mari of the Minor Moon fancies himself a bit of an amateur gunsmith, and so he proves to be the exception.
