Conscription
Anyone who has ever looked into the glazed eyes of a soldier dying on the battlefield will think hard before starting a war.
- Otto von Bismarck
Conscription is currently in effect in the Germanic Military Reich of Nachfolgia. all Nachfolgian born citizens are required to enter a Nachfolgian Military academy when they turn 6 years of age. After 12 years, they graduate the academies and enter either the Heer, Kriegsmarine, or the Luftwaffe. women are put into non-combat roles such as Administration, logistics, or the Nursing Corps.
Non-Nachfolgians are forced to serve in the Nachfolgian Aüslander Brigade, a separate sub-branch attached to the Heer. personal in the Aüslander Brigade are given the same uniform as the Heer but have a different rank structure, established so that no non-Nachfolgian is ever truely in charge of anything. their is always a Nachfolgian in charge.
Territorial Conscription
in the colony of Greater Persia, all former members of the Greater Persian Armed Forces are conscripted into the Aüslander Brigade or the Prussian Persisch Kolonial Truppe. The voluntarily enlistment age is sixteen, however, in practice, it is much lower.
Conscription is not enacted in Military District B (former Bordurian).
