Purpose

when the panzers succeed victory follows
- General Heinz Guderian

The Nachfolgischen Reichs Wehrmacht's purpose is to serve the Reich, the ObersterFührur, and the Nachfolgian people. it will do as the ObersterFührur commands it to do. its unwavering loyalty to the ObersterFührur and the Reich is reflected in the national motto,Loyalität bis zum Tod, meaning loyalty 'til death. it signifies that no soldat, Seemann, or Flieger is exempted from his loyalty to the nation, no matter what pain and torment a Soldat goes through it must never betray his fellow Nachfolgians. Nachfolgian Soldats are trained never to reveal information when interrigated and tortured, Soldats rather die than betray fellow soldats. the Wehrmacht is trained to never to surrender, to fight to the last man than allow an aüslander step foot on Nachfolgian soil. they will never allow Nachfolgia to become a puppet nation to another nation. the Wehrmacht is dedicated to victory, honor, strength, loyalty, and persistence and will gladly die for those values.

Generalfeldmarschal Hans von Sturmgeist
Commanding General of the Wehrmacht

History

"Never forget that no military leader has ever become great without audacity. If the leader is filled with high ambition and if he pursues his aims with audacity and strength of will, he will reach them in spite of all obstacles."

Karl von Clausewitz

Early History
The Nachfolgian Reichs Wehrmacht had it's beginnings in the fall of the second Bulagarian Empire, after which, the Balkans and Greece came under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. The Holy Roman Empire saw the Ottomans as a threat to their expansion and Germanization of Eastern Europe. After a series of decisive victories of the Holy Roman Empire in the late 1400's, the Ottoman's were pushed out of the Balkans. the Holy Roman Empire then began to germanize the region and extending the Empire's territory. the new territory of the Holy Roman Empire was given the name, Nachfolgia as a Principality, sympolizing the region as a successor of the Empire. in 1503, Emperor Rudolph II named Albrect Himmenstaus, a german general who led the Heer that pushed the Ottomans out of the Balkans, as the Fürst of the new principality.

Conscription

Anyone who has ever looked into the glazed eyes of a soldier dying on the battlefield will think hard before starting a war.

- Otto von Bismarck

Conscription is currently in effect in the Germanic Military Reich of Nachfolgia. all Nachfolgian born citizens are required to enter a Nachfolgian Military academy when they turn 6 years of age. After 12 years, they graduate the academies and enter either the Heer, Kriegsmarine, or the Luftwaffe. women are put into non-combat roles such as Administration, logistics, or the Nursing Corps.

Non-Nachfolgians are forced to serve in the Nachfolgian Aüslander Brigade, a separate sub-branch attached to the Heer. personal in the Aüslander Brigade are given the same uniform as the Heer but have a different rank structure, established so that no non-Nachfolgian is ever truely in charge of anything. their is always a Nachfolgian in charge.

Territorial Conscription

in the colony of Greater Persia, all former members of the Greater Persian Armed Forces are conscripted into the Aüslander Brigade or the Prussian Persisch Kolonial Truppe. The voluntarily enlistment age is sixteen, however, in practice, it is much lower.
Conscription is not enacted in Military District B (former Bordurian).
